The Biden regime recently approved a $20 billion weapons package destined for Israel according to a United States State Department announcement on August 13, 2024.

The United States Congress was informed of this weapons sale, which consisted of over 50 F-15 aircraft, advanced air-to-air missiles, 120 mm tank shells, high-explosive mortars, and tactical vehicles, according to a report by The Cradle.

The weapons contracts could potentially take years to go into effect and the first weapon deliveries are not expected to take place prior to 2026. 

“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to US national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability. This proposed sale is consistent with those objectives,” the State Department declared in a statement published on August 13. 

The weapons sales “will support Israel’s long-term security by resupplying stocks of critical munitions and investing in long-term upgrades in capability,” the Biden regime announced.

This weapons sale comes at a time when the Biden regime continues to receive criticism over its continued support of Israel’s war against Gaza, which has seen a significant rise in civilian casualties. 

From October 7 up until late June, the Biden regime has delivered close to 30,000 bombs to Israel, which have been used to to pummel Gaza into oblivion. Close to 2% of the Gaza Strip’s population has been killed by Israeli military action, per the Cradle. All of these attacks are backed by the US Deep State. 

The latest deployment of aid comes at a time when Israel fears that it could get enveloped in a war with Iran and its proxies such Hezbollah. Israel’s targeted assassinations against Iranian and Hezbollah officials have added fuel to the fire and are raising questions about a regional war kicking off.  

“The announcement [of the arms sale] sends a message to Iran and Hezbollah,” Israeli officials said to Axios on August 14. 

US officials told the outlet that the approval of the weapons sale takes place “at a time when the US wants to project to the region its support for Israel’s long-term security.”

At some point, one has to wonder if the US ruling class actually cares about the national security of the US. When our border remains porous, DC leadership would rather deliver key military aid to the likes of Israel and Ukraine, when such resources should be deployed at our southern border. 

For that to ever happen, America will need a completely new ruling class.
