Alvin Bragg is watching his criminal case against Donald Trump go off the rails.

And The View stunned Democrats when they admitted this hard truth about Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt against Donald Trump.

The View: Stormy Daniels’ testimony was a dud

The testimony of Stormy Daniels ended up being a disaster for Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

But even the most ardent Trump-hating self-proclaimed “journalists” were forced to admit she failed to deliver.

Bragg’s case makes the fictitious claim that Trump committed a crime to interfere in the 2016 election by labeling a payment made to his Attorney, Michael Cohen – an alleged reimbursement for securing a nondisclosure agreement with Daniels in regards to an alleged affair – as “legal services.”

The radical left-wing co-hosts on ABC’s The View discussed Daniels’ testimony and came to a surprising conclusion.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin is a former Trump administration official turned Never-Trump RINO who gets a big paycheck from ABC’s parent company, Disney, to serve as the show’s token “Republican” and bash her supposed Party on television.

She said that Bragg still hadn’t shown any evidence that Trump committed a crime.

“I actually, I hate to say this because I want to see him be held accountable,” Griffin said. “I don’t think that the prosecution’s thoroughly proven the case yet. I do think they showed this was about the campaign, that’s why he didn’t want it to come out. That’s half.”

In what became a theme of the segment, she consoled herself that there was still time for Bragg to save his sinking case.

“They still have to definitively, beyond a reasonable doubt, convince them that he falsified the business records and they may get there,” Griffin continued. “There’s two more weeks.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin agreed, saying, “They’ve got time, they got time.”

Bragg indicted Trump with a flimsy case built on a preposterous legal theory.

The public perception of the trial is an important part of his case.

“The court of public opinion, as we’re speaking, Stormy Daniels is talking about him asking her if she has STDs, if she was regularly tested,” Griffin continued. “And I hate to bring up salacious stuff like that, but people watching who don’t necessarily, you know, hadn’t paid as much attention—could sway some minds. So even if he’s not convicted, this may resonate with women.”

Daniels’ testimony was widely panned by Democrats’ media allies, including CNN and MSNBC.

She never testified to being a witness or party to any sort of crime committed by Trump.

And Daniels destroyed what little credibility she had by laughing on the stand and admitting she openly hates the former President.

The point of Bragg’s case is to inflict as much political damage on Trump as possible.

And calling her as a witness was part of that strategy.

The benefit of Daniels’ testimony to his case is questionable at best, but it was possible she could generate some bad headlines for the former President.

Griffin hoped that the testimony would “sway some minds.” 

But after nearly a decade of non-stop Trump hysteria from Democrats and their media allies, whatever the claim is, the latest bombshell falls flat.
