Violent Portland Antifa activist John Colin Hacker was arrested on suspicion of assault on Wednesday outside the Clackamas County Courthouse. He punched a man following a heated confrontation, leaving the victim bloodied with a hole in his face.

This came immediately after his comrade Alissa Azar was found guilty of a felony over a 2021 Antifa attack at Clackamette Park in Oregon City. Azar is a violent ringleader of Portland Antifa.

Hacker was taken into custody by Oregon City police and is being held at the Clackamas County Jail, according to jail records. His charges, if any, remain unclear.

Video footage taken by the Post Millennial shows a shackled Hacker being placed in the back of a police vehicle. Antifa comrades were at the scene and harassed police as they watched their violent comrade being hauled off to jail.

Hacker describes himself as a "citizen journalist," but is said to have an alleged role within Antifa that includes doxing political targets. He has a long history of violence and famously testified to assaulting Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo during his trial against Rose City Antifa, et al last summer.

Ngo accused Hacker in a civil complaint of assault, battery, theft, and intentional infliction of emotional distress over multiple incidents of violence that began in 2019. This included Hacker assaulting Ngo at a Portland-area gym and stealing his phone.

There was a heavy police presence outside the Clackamas County Courthouse following the conclusion of the trial of the State of Oregon v. Alissa Azar. Azar was found guilty of felony riot and second-degree disorderly conduct. The jury determined she participated in and helped organize a violent riot at Clackamette Park in 2021, despite her self-identity as an "independent journalist."

The conviction sent a shockwave throughout Rose City Antifa. Its members have a lengthy history of avoiding justice for serious crimes committed during direct actions. Most of their acts of political violence are carried out in Multnomah County, but this time Azar was on trial in Clackamas County, which "respects the rule of law," Commissioner Ben West told The Post Millennial.
