A Belgian teen was allegedly gang raped by a group of minors after being “lent out” to the group by her own boyfriend, according to reports.
The girl, a 14-year-old from Kortrijk, was allegedly lured to the woods by her 14-year-old boyfriend on April after they spent a day at a fair — but once they arrived a group of about 10 of his friends between the age of 11 and 16 were waiting for them.
She was then forced to have sex with the boyfriend, according to the Belgian outlet HLN, after which the friends took turns forcing themselves on her — even as she shouted at them to “stop.”
“She grimaced. I saw she was in pain,” a 14-year-old suspect reportedly told police after the victim came forward about the attack.
The boys allegedly filmed the assault and distributed it among other friends, while an 11-year-old boy stood watch during the rape.
In the days following, the horrifying attack was repeated at least two more times as the girl was lured to the same remote location, according to reports.
During the attacks the girl showed signs of being in a traumatized state, suspects telling authorities her face went pale as she appeared to become dizzy and that she closed her eyes and did not make noise as she was assaulted.
Several boys even groped her while their friends took turns raping her.
The girl was allegedly so traumatized by the event that it took her days to muster up the courage to report the attack to police.
Ten boys have been arrested in connection with the attack — but the alleged ringleader boyfriend has insisted on his innocence.
“That my client would have ‘lent out’ his sweetheart is simply not true,” the boy’s attorney told HLN. “My client formally denies that. Further research is needed to clarify the facts.”
“This is very difficult for him,” the attorney added. “At home he is someone who always behaved correctly and there were never any major problems with him. These facts are therefore a particularly heavy blow for his parents.”
The boy is due in court on May 24.
