LeBron James snapped when a fan at the Paris Olympics attempted to take a photo with him over the weekend. When the fan approached the basketball player, James yelled at the fan, telling him to stop.

"Stop, stop, stop! Don't do that!" James snapped at the much shorter fan, who appeared to only be in his teenage years. The much taller basketball player put up his hand at the same time to scold the fan as he walked by with a gold medal around his neck.

As the Olympic gold medalist basketball player walked past the fan, another in James' entourage was sure to block the young fan from approaching James. Many reacted negatively to him snapping at the fan on social media.

"LeBron James is not, nor has he ever been, on the same level as Michael Jordan. Prove me wrong," wrote Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

"King James showing his true colors. Will never be a real champion," Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec wrote.

Zeek Arkham reacted to the video, "It’s been shown over and over again Lebron isn’t a good person. I don’t think anyone is surprised by his actions."

User Paul Szypula responded to the video, "While the kid did block him, LeBron could’ve handled that in a much nicer way. It’s yet another bad look for King James."

Others suggested that if James faces backlash over the incident, he will blame racism for people's reaction to him snapping at the young fan, "After all the backlash, he'll cry 'racism' LOL," user Kat Kanada said in response to the video. James has been known to wade into politically charged topics regarding race, even boosting race hoaxes at times, such as the BYU v Duke volleyball incident.

On Saturday evening, the US basketball team took home the gold for the fifth consecutive Olympic Games, beating France 98-87 in the match. Steph Curry scored 24 points in the game. James finished the match with 14 points, nine assists and six rebounds, per the Akron Beacon Journal. The win makes it James' third career gold medal at the games.
