The International Olympic Committee now says it would be happy to resolve the controversies about biological males competing in women's sports.
Somebody has to come up with a scientific way to determine the sex of the competitors because right now, they can't answer the question, "What is a woman."

No, I am not joking.
Very concerned about these statements by the IOC at #Paris2024. There are multiple international treaties and national constitutions that specifically refer to #women and their fundamental rights to equality and non-discrimination, so the world has a pretty good idea of what… pic.twitter.com/LeMwWRO49G

Until about 5 minutes ago, everybody knew the answer to that very basic question, and there was a scientific way to answer it: do a test to determine the chromosomes. If they are XX, the competitor is a woman. If they are XY, it is a man.
But in a world where everybody in power seems to have become a devotee of critical theory, simple questions don't have simple answers, only approved ones. If a DNA tests show a certain chromosomal genetics, it doesn't count as "science" because the "science" doesn't give the answer that the "experts" want it to.
Also saying that sex tests have been discredited and now the most reliable way to ensure accurate category eligibility is to look at a passport.

The athletes themselves who have been creamed by the males with Differences in Sexual Development, or DSDs, are much smarter than the IOC. After losing to the males, they hold up their hands and make the sign: XX. We are women. He is a man.

On its face, it makes little sense that the IOC is willing to die on this hill, even for gender ideology reasons, because the competitors aren't even transgender. If they were it would be obvious why they were willing to go to the mat on the issue--to make an ideological statement that transgender "women" are "women."
So why fight the DSD battle?
Well, to me it's obvious. If the IOC admitted that the definition of female is genetic, then the entire gender ideology battle in sports is done. XX is women, XY is male.
They can't admit that, obviously, because it undercuts the claim made by transgender people. If they answer the question of "What is a woman" then that definition is put into stone, and they can't have that.
So we get this farce. The IOC knows that it looks ridiculous and that they are hurting the organization, but they are more committed to the ideology than protecting women or even the IOC.
Sure, it's insane. But gender ideology is insane too, and for the past few years, we have seen people in the transnational elite are perfectly willing to tie our societies in knots in order to win this battle. No amount of collateral damage is too much.
If these people are willing to recruit children for sterilization and mutilation, any amount of abuse directed at women can be justified. A woman who wants to box (why? I don't get that either) is surely no worse than cutting the genitals off a teenager.

Seen in that light this controversy is easy to understand.
Once again, the definition of "female" and "woman" must be kept vague and totally open because as Matt Walsh proved it is the key to resolving this whole controversy. And since it would be resolved in a way that the gender ideologists don't like, they can legitimately say that science can't answer the easiest question in the world.
You might think that anybody with a conscience would recoil, and you would be right.
But these people have no conscience.
