The Nevada Republican Party announced a significant voter roll clean-up in Clark County, the state’s most-populated county.

Clark County is home to approximately 2.3 million residents.

“The Nevada Republican Party is proud to announce the successful clean-up of voter rolls in Clark County. This achievement is the result of dedicated efforts by the NVGOP, the Republican National Committee, Trump Campaign, and numerous grassroots organizations, in collaboration with the Nevada Secretary of State and Clark Registrar of Voters. This concerted effort has led to the removal of over 90,000 voters who should no longer be considered active, significantly enhancing the accuracy and integrity of the voter rolls,” a press release from the Nevada GOP read.

“The Executive Board of the NVGOP expressed their satisfaction with the outcome, stating, ‘We are incredibly pleased with the recent voter roll clean-up in Clark County. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure a fair and free election this November. We look forward to seeing the results of the voter roll clean-ups in the other 16 counties,’” the press release continued.

“As we approach the upcoming November elections, the NVGOP will continue to work closely with state and local officials to ensure that voter rolls across all counties are accurate and up-to-date,” it added.

In related news, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, a Republican, announced that “county boards of elections are being directed to remove an additional 499 non-citizen registrations from Ohio’s voter rolls.”

“The latest action comes as part of a multi-phase, comprehensive audit of the statewide voter registration database ahead of the November general election,” a press release from LaRose’s office read.

“I swore an oath to uphold the constitution of our state, and that document clearly states that only United States citizens can participate in Ohio elections,” LaRose said.

“That means I’m duty-bound to make sure people who haven’t yet earned citizenship in this country aren’t voting. If or when they do become citizens, I’ll be the first one to congratulate them and welcome them to the franchise, but until then the law requires us to remove ineligible registrations to prevent illegal voting,” he added.
