For months, even years, conservatives and independent thinkers have watched President Joe Biden’s glaring physical and mental decline, attempting to make the case that Biden is incapable of leading our country.

However, we were waved aside. Biden’s series of physical and cognitive missteps continued to mount throughout his first term until, four months before the election, Democrats sacrificed the visibly unwell Biden on the world stage in the presidential debate against former President Donald Trump.

After it became blindingly clear that the public saw the reality – that President Biden is a man who held a long career in public office but was unfit to lead any longer – Democrats finally admitted what conservatives had been saying all along. Biden is utterly incapable of running the country for four more years, and therefore must be replaced.

But this raises a vast number of disturbing questions. When exactly did Biden become unfit for office? How could his inner circle – cabinet members, advisors, staff, family – not have admitted that he is incapable of his duties earlier? The American people were left blindsided by the discovery that Biden really was as unfit as conservatives had been articulating for months.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Most relevant, should the Democratic Party’s presumptive replacement, Vice President Kamala Harris, be held responsible for not alerting the public earlier to Biden’s steep cognitive decline, considering evaluating the president’s fitness is part of her job under the 25th Amendment?

In January of this year – ten months before the general election – Harris was asked to remark on Biden’s visible physical and mental decline. At that time, Harris admitted that she spends a great deal of time with Biden, whether in the Oval Office or the situation room. Harris said, “this is someone who is tireless in terms of working.”

If Harris did spend a great deal of time working beside Biden, it is highly disconcerting that she did not notice and alert the public to his clear inability to focus and articulate himself, not to mention struggles to climb stairs or exit stages.

This is a man responsible for making multiple decisions every day that impact over 331 million Americans. The American people are gravely concerned now that Democrats have admitted Biden is too inept to serve as president for four more years. If he is unable to serve from January onward, why is he serving now?

According to a new YouGov survey, a full 66 percent of Americans believe that Biden’s age and health “severely limit his ability to do the job” of president. Only 22 percent of the public believe the president’s age and health have “little to no affect” on his ability to perform his duties. This lends credence to the many voices of conservatives who have been articulating this point for well over a year.

There is broad consensus among Americans that Biden is severely limited in his ability to perform his duties – not next January – but now. Sixty-nine percent of independents and 91 percent of Republicans assert that Biden’s health and age severely limit his ability to do the job of president. Although a slim majority of Democrats – 44 percent – claim that Biden’s physical and mental state have little impact on his ability perform, 40 percent admit that Biden is severely limited.

More alarming even, is the fact that a full 37 percent of Democrats who intend to vote for Vice President Harris in November assert that Biden’s health has severely limited his ability to perform his duties.

This raises the question once again, whether Harris had a duty to inform the American people about Biden’s declining state earlier in the election year. Even a significant number of voters in her own party admit they are worried Biden is unable to perform his duties right now, yet they are perfectly willing to pivot to support the woman who overlooked Biden’s decline for months or even years.

The Biden Administration has caused an immense amount of suffering, whether due to Biden being asleep at the wheel or due to powerful interests who took advantage of that fact. Biden, and Harris, are currently presiding over the largest border crisis in American history, crushing inflation, rampant crime, and a deeply unstable Middle East and Eastern Europe.

There are certainly questions to be asked about Biden’s current state. Who knew what, and when did they know it? How long have Americans been forced to suffer under the inept Biden, because his party was unwilling to come forward and admit the truth?
