The attempted assassination of Donald Trump exposed serious problems within the Secret Service.
But it could be worse than anyone could have imagined.
And a Secret Service agent issued a dire warning about this nightmare scenario coming true.
Donald Trump might not be out of the woods yet
More damning evidence of the Secret Service’s shocking failure to protect former President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania keeps coming out.
It took nearly a dozen serious security failures to allow a gunman to scout the fairgrounds before the rally and then climb on the roof of a building with a direct line of sight on the former President.
The Secret Service’s response has been to blame local law enforcement in an attempt to evade any serious accountability for their actions.
Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned to be replaced by her subordinate, Ronald Rowe, as Acting Director.
The agency is just trying to pretend it’s just business as usual, and that could spell disaster.
A Secret Service sniper is warning that another assassination could happen at any moment after the failure in Butler.
The sniper warned that Trump could face another attempt on his life in less than 30 days unless a change in leadership happens.
He said that five members of Secret Service leadership need to be fired.
RealClearPolitics’ Susan Crabtree obtained a copy of the email that was sent to select members of the Secret Service.
“This agency NEEDS to change, if not now, WHEN?” the sniper wrote. “We all SHOULD expect another attempt to happen before November. We’ve exposed our inability to protect our leaders due to our leadership.”
Secret Service leadership is ignoring the problem.
The sniper said that Secret Service leadership ignored warnings about the problem.
“Failure is not an option, and on 7/13/24, WE failed. Not because of commitment or sense of dedication. But because our SUPERVISORS (aka leadership) knew better and thought our concerns were less than important,” the sniper stated.
He said that it was only by luck that something like this hadn’t happened before.
“Sadly we have fallen short for YEARS. We just got lucky and looked good doing it. I have conveyed these thoughts to not only supervisors … Only to be brushed off as those with less experience somehow knew more than me,” the sniper explained.
“Secret Service SUPERVISORS ‘knew better’ and the foot soldiers working, made the best of a BAD situation,” the sniper said.
The sniper told his colleagues that the entire Secret Service had been disgraced by the Trump shooting.
Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe told U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) at a Senate Judiciary Committee that the agency is investigating the situation and that no one has been fired over the near assassination of a former President.
Something is deeply wrong with the Secret Service.
But no one in the agency’s leadership seems to be interested in making any serious changes.
It could take the men and women within the agency speaking out about the problems to force serious reforms to occur and leadership to be shown to the door.
