Trump doubled down on his comments at the NABJ conference on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, during the NABJ convention, Trump shared that “Kamala turned black.”

In a new post on Truth Social, Trump shared a photo of Kamala dressed up in traditional Indian garments.`

Trump wrote in the photo’s caption, “Thank you, Kamala, for the nice picture you sent from many years ago!”

“Your warmth, friendship, and love of your Indian Heritage are very much appreciated,” added Trump.

Trump, interviewed by ABC News’ Rachel Scott, Semafor’s Kadia Goba and Fox News’ Harris Faulkner at the annual National Association of Black Journalists’ convention, claimed that Harris “happened to turn Black.”

“She was always of Indian heritage. And she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black,” Trump said of Harris, who attended Howard University, an HBCU.

“I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” he said.
He doubled down on his Truth Social after the interview, again questioning Harris’ racial identity.
