Joe Biden addressed the American people from the Oval Office on Wednesday about his decision to exit the Presidential race.

He claimed his decision was spurred by a sudden desire to pass the torch to a “new generation.”

But Donald Trump blew the lid on what Democrat insiders told him about Kamala Harris replacing Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden appeared in public for the first time since July 17 when he addressed the American people from the Oval Office.

During his 11-minute speech, Biden attempted to talk up his failed record as President and explained his decision to withdraw from the Presidential race.

“It’s been the honor of my life to serve as your president,” Biden said. “But in the defense of democracy, which is at stake, I think it’s more important than any title.”

“I need to unite my party,” he added. “I believe my record as President, my leadership in the world, my vision for America’s future all merited a second term – but nothing, nothing, can come in the way of saving our democracy, and that includes personal ambition.”

Democrats and their media allies are portraying Biden as some type of hero for his alleged decision to withdraw from the race.

But Donald Trump believes there’s more to Biden’s decision than Democrats are willing to admit.

On Thursday, he appeared for a phone interview on Fox News’ Fox & Friends to discuss Biden’s speech and offer his thoughts on Kamala Harris.

Trump told Fox News viewers that Biden was forced out by Democrat Party insiders.

“I know a lot of people on the other side, too, that they went, and they forced him out between Pelosi and Obama and some others that you see on television,” Trump said. “It was interesting. I’d watch them on television and they act so nice.”

However, Trump said it’s all an act.

“I know for a fact they were brutal,” Trump said.

He called it a Democrat Party “coup.”

“They didn’t want him running,” Trump said. “He was way down in the polls, and they thought he was going to lose.” 

“They went to him and they said, you can’t win the race, which I think is true, unless I did something very foolish, which I wasn’t going to do, and I think he was so far down and they said, ‘You’re not going to win, and you’re not in great shape, and you did poorly in the debate,’” he added. “I think the debate started everything.”

As for Biden’s speech, Trump described it as a “terrible speech” and “terrible delivery.”

But he pointed out how Democrats’ media allies are covering the speech like “he was Ronald Reagan in his prime, Winston Churchill in his prime.”

“It’s so phony what’s going on,” he said. “The press is so – it’s so fake. Anybody can see it was a problem.”

With former President Barack Obama now fully endorsing Kamala Harris’ candidacy, the Democrat Vice President is the Party’s presumptive nominee.

But with roughly three weeks still left until the Democrat National Convention, anything could happen.

And Donald Trump is ready to take on whomever Democrats decide to run against him.
