Joe Biden and Donald Trump were scheduled to square off for a second debate in September.
But Joe Biden ended his campaign on Sunday.
And Jose Canseco had one suggestion for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris that caught everyone by surprise.
Former President Donald Trump officially accepted the Republican Party’s Presidential nomination at last week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Trump selected Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate.
But Democrats have no candidate after President Joe Biden dropped out on Sunday.
By Tuesday, an Associated Press survey indicated that Vice President Kamala Harris had gained commitments from enough delegates to secure the Party’s nomination at next month’s Democrat National Convention in Chicago.
Even though everything could obviously change before the August 19 Convention, right now, it looks like Donald Trump will face off against Harris this fall.
Many Americans are already wondering what a debate between Trump and Harris would look like.
Donald Trump recently told Fox News that he would certainly agree to a debate with Harris.
“Absolutely,” Trump said when asked if he’ll debate Harris at least once before Election Day. “I’d want to. I think it’s important.”
“I would be willing to do more than one debate, actually,” he added.
Trump said it wouldn’t be any different than debating Joe Biden because “they have the same policies.”
But he made it clear that he hadn’t formally agreed to a debate with anyone other than Joe Biden.
“I haven’t agreed to anything,” he said. “I agreed to a debate with Joe Biden. I think debating is important for a presidential race. I really do.”
“I think if you’re the Democrat nominee or the Republican nominee, you have an obligation to debate,” he continued. “I think it’s very important.”
ABC was previously scheduled to host Trump’s second debate with Joe Biden.
But Trump admitted that “I’m not thrilled about ABC because they’re truly fake news.”
Joe Biden set the terms and conditions for the first debate, but Trump said he would “have at least equal say” in the rules for the next debate.
“And I don’t like the idea of ABC,” he said.
But Donald Trump and Kamala Harris just received an offer to moderate the debate from a source that no one would have ever predicted.
Notorious former MLB player Jose Canseco chimed in and offered to serve as the moderator for the second debate.
“I should moderate the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris,” he wrote on X.

ABC News’ David Muir and Lindsey Davis were originally named as the moderators for the next debate.
But that debate was set to take place between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Everything changed after Joe Biden stepped aside.
And no matter how funny it’d be, there’s no chance Jose Canseco will moderate a Presidential debate.
