But a dangerous gun-grabbing scheme enacted in California is now stripping law-abiding Americans of their Second Amendment rights nationwide.

California’s horrible red flag law comes to Texas

Democrat-controlled California has been working hard to disarm as many of its law-abiding citizens as possible.

Despite its rising crime rate, gun grabbers are working overtime to figure out new ways to circumvent the Constitution and decades of Supreme Court precedent reaffirming Americans’ rights to ensure citizens are as defenseless as possible.

One of the most draconian laws the Democrat-controlled state created was so-called “red flag” confiscation laws that allow government-controlled law enforcement to forcefully seize law-abiding citizens’ firearms without due process.

“Red flag” confiscation laws are supposed to be emergency orders that get guns out of the hands of individuals who pose an imminent threat to others or themselves.

The idea is that when someone is reported – even if the report isn’t based in reality – government-controlled law enforcement takes their firearms until government bureaucrats determine that they can have them back.

The problem is that anyone can make any claim they want against a law-abiding gun owner – even without a shred of evidence – and then said gun owner must spend thousands in legal fees and go through months or even years-long process before having their God-given natural right to self-defense restored.

The form does not even require the person making a claim to swear an oath or make any affirmation that their concerns are true, and there isn’t even a penalty for those who use the law to harass an innocent person.

RED FLAG GOES NATIONWIDE

Now, California’s red flag law is going nationwide.

Because not only can anyone make a red flag complaint, but they can also now do it to people who live in different states.

Democrats passed the Federal Extreme Risk Protection Order scheme in 2022. 

The idea was to streamline the process of nationalizing the confiscation of firearms through so-called “red flag laws.”

The Biden-Harris Department of Justice created a “resource center” to create incentives to bribe states to pass “red flag laws” and nationalize the process.

And as a result, a Texan who never lived in California is being told he needs to turn in his firearms because a Californian put his name in the system.

This was reported on The Armed Attorneys YouTube channel, which explained why this is so dangerous for every law-abiding gun owner in America.

While you may be tempted to tell Democrat-controlled California to “pound sand” if they try to enforce the law in your state, you might find out quickly during the federal government’s background check process that you won’t be allowed to purchase any firearm because you ignored the California notice.

Democrat-controlled California does not require that you be a resident of the state before an “Extreme Risk” order is granted.

“We have a person in California who  is schizophrenic and believes that people are tormenting her,” The Armed Attorneys explained. “She is alleging this Texan ‘is the person tormenting me’ and she’s related so it is listed as a domestic violence order. The problem with that entire scenario is that this person has no contacts with California, hasn’t been to California in decades.”

“Despite this, the court issued a red flag emergency protective order and yep and that order was served upon this person here in Texas,” the YouTube channel added.

Now, the innocent Texan has to spend thousands of dollars to go to California, find an attorney, and get this expunged from his record because a mentally ill relative he has not seen in years claims that he is threatening her from over a thousand miles away.

Gun owners across the country can no longer ignore the outrageous gun control laws in Democrat-controlled California when the Biden-Harris Justice Department is working hard to expand the state’s power to take away the gun rights of law-abiding citizens in other states.
