In particular, one sworn piece of evidence was spectacular in the court hearings over whether Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis recruited her boyfriend to trial the US president for a crime—and lied about it.

In February, John Floyd III, her father, gave a court testimony claiming that his daughter was “forced” to relocate following her initial election. Following her swearing in on January 1, 2021, Floyd said, “There were individuals outside her house cussing and hollering and calling her the b-word and n-word on or about the third of February at maybe 5 or 5:30 a.m. It was strange. Thankfully, the neighbors broke up the gathering and contacted the police.

That explained why Willis ended up residing at a friend’s apartment. The friend testified that Willis was seeing Nathan Wade prior to her hiring him to handle the prosecution. Floyd provided a thorough account of the threats in his evidence, and he lived in the Willis-owned home until 2022.

They threatened to blow up the house and murder me, my grandkids, and her. I could go on forever. I was worried about her security,” he said in court. It was so bizarre. We would contact the police because we had people, including a person who appeared in a parked automobile for around eight hours.

“The South Fulton police initially parked a police cruiser in front of the permanently erected residence.” They sent a guy around the house with a dog once or sometimes twice a day to search for explosives, he claimed. Additionally, someone sprayed the n- and b-words on the home once more; I doubt my kid was even aware of this. After cleaning it off, I gave the South Fulton Police a call. They undoubtedly have records of what transpired.

Nevertheless, the City of South Fulton Police Department stated that it did not have any records of any of those instances in response to The Daily Wire’s request for public records. Actually, the house was the subject of only one incident report from July 2021, which included the seizure of an abandoned car.

The Daily Wire reported that South Fulton Police Chief of Staff Jubal Rodgers stated in an interview that while he had not been able to find any records, “Madam DA Willis has her own protection with officers,” meaning it was possible that another agency handled the incidents.

The Fulton County Police Department stated that “no records exist” in response to a request for public records for “any police report, incident report, or dispatch log referring to” the block from November 1, 2020 through June 1, 2021. “This is the residence of DA Fani Willis and her father, John Clifford Floyd III (who may be under FCPD protective detail),” the request stated.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, there were no incidents on the street in the first half of 2021, according to The Daily Wire. A Fulton County Marshal spokesman stated that their office was not involved.

Willis spokesperson Jeff DiSantis remained silent when asked about the absence of police records and documents pertaining to threats made by Willis’ security detail.

Despite the absence of official documents not conclusively proving the events didn’t occur, Floyd’s statement of a neighbor calling the police raises some concerns, suggesting that the incident likely wasn’t associated with a special security detail. Floyd stated that the DA’s security detail probably did not cover the threats made against him, and Fulton County police responded accordingly.

The story claims that in Fulton County, where the majority of people are black and 74% of voters rejected Donald Trump, a group of racists who get up early gather to shout racial epithets at the residence of a minor public figure who has the authority to put them in jail. This story is somewhat reminiscent of actor Jussie Smollett’s claim that, while he was walking in near zero temperatures in Chicago while eating a Subway sandwich, white men shouted the n- and f-word at him and declared the area was “MAGA Country.” In the end, his fake police complaint led to his imprisonment.

Credibility issues dominated the Fulton County hearings, which culminated in an order from Judge Scott McAfee to strike one of Willis or Wade from the Trump case. Wade left his job in March.
