The attempted assassination of Donald Trump changed the political landscape and altered the trajectory of the Presidential race.

Post-shooting polling data is starting to emerge.

And polling experts were stunned to find one-third of Democrats share this wild belief about the Trump shooting.

Former President Donald Trump accepted the Republican Presidential nomination and delivered a 90-minute speech on Thursday, a mere five days after taking a bullet to the ear in an attempted assassination.

Within minutes of Trump starting his rally speech, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump from a rooftop that had a direct line of sight to the stage.

The first bullet grazed Trump’s ear after he just happened to slightly tilt his head just as the shooter pulled the trigger.

Two rally attendees were injured and another was killed by the seven or eight shots fired by the assassin, who was taken out by a sniper.

With blood pouring down his face, Trump rose to his feet and shouted, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” while pumping his fist in the air.

Trump showed true courage under fire.

Had he not turned his head slightly to the side the exact moment the shooter pulled the trigger, Trump would have almost certainly been assassinated last Saturday.

But while there are numerous theories and conspiracies surrounding the security failures leading up to the attempted assassination, polling experts were floored by what one recent survey showed among Democrat voters.

According to a Morning Consult poll, one-third of Democrats believe Trump staged the shooting for political reasons.

“One in three registered Democrats believe it is ‘credible’ that the shooting Saturday in Butler, Pa., was staged and not intended to kill Trump,” the Washington Free Beacon reported. “The findings show that large swaths of the Democratic base have fallen prey to the phenomenon known as ‘BlueAnon,’ a play on the far-right QAnon conspiracy theory that once gripped portions of the Republican base and served as an obsession of the mainstream media throughout the first Trump administration.”

But polling experts shouldn’t be too surprised, given how Democrats and their media allies have publicly responded to the shooting.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid told her audience that she doesn’t believe Trump was hit by a bullet.

“I have many questions!” Reid wrote. “Like where are the medical reports?”

“We don’t know why, for nine full seconds, Donald Trump was allowed to stand back up during an active shooting, an active shooter situation,” she said. “Even though they at that point had said the shooter was down, how would they have known if there were more shooters or not?” she continued. “Yet they allowed him to stand up in the middle of that, you know, crisis and pose for a photo and fist-pump the air so he could get the iconic photo?” 

Donald Trump’s courage under fire won over the hearts of many undecided voters.

But Democrats are sickened by Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And they’re creating conspiracy theories to try and help them cope with the reality that Trump may serve another four years in the White House.
