The general election just got even crazier.
Democrat Party elites have been pestering Joe Biden to drop out of the campaign.
And Donald Trump tore Biden to shreds after his jaw-dropping announcement about the 2024 Presidential race.
Biden bows out
The Democrat coup is complete.
Party elites finally forced Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 Presidential election.
Biden made the announcement on social media, much to the surprise of his own White House aides.

He wrote in a statement, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term. I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.”

Biden had stubbornly stayed in the race despite prominent Democrats publicly calling for him to go, but he finally relented as the powers inside the party aligned against him.
Trump clocks Biden on his way out the door
Donald Trump did not waste any time torching Biden and his record.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Crooked Joe Biden is the Worst President, by far, in the History of our Nation. He has done everything possible to destroy our Country, from our Southern Border, to Energy Dominance, National Security, International Standing, and so much more. He was annihilated in an Earth Shattering Debate, and now the Corrupt and Radical Democrats are throwing him overboard. He was not fit to serve from the very beginning, but the people around him lied to America about his Complete and Total Mental, Physical, and Cognitive Demise. Whoever the Left puts up now will just be more of the same. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

As Trump pointed out, Democrats have been lying about Biden’s failing mental health for years.
That became obvious to the entire nation after Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Trump where he looked and sounded decrepit and befuddled.
Suddenly, the spell was broken.
It became acceptable to notice Biden’s cognitive decline.
There were whispers behind the scenes that Barack Obama was leading the charge to oust Biden, though he publicly endorsed him after his historically bad debate night against Trump.
Those rumors were reinforced when Hollywood superstar and close Obama friend George Clooney penned an op-ed in The New York Times calling for Biden to go.
Clooney wrote, “I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he’s won many of the battles he’s faced. . .But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can.”
The Democrat Party is now in flux, but seems to be circling the wagons around Kamala Harris for now.
But her dismal performance in the 2020 primary cannot be too inspiring for the Democrats.
