Hulk Hogan is the biggest star in the history of professional wrestling.

Now, he’s ready to enter the ring with his toughest competitor yet.

And Hulk Hogan is going full Hulkamanic on Bud Light with this brutal message.

The Hulkster’s light beer debuts as Bud Light competitor

Bud Light was the best-selling beer in the country for more than two decades until the brand incinerated its reputation by going all in on woke extremism with transgender “influencer” Dylan Mulvaney in April 2023.

The light brand is still suffering from the backlash from going woke.

And that’s opening the door for competitors to go after Bud Light’s former customers.

Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan launched a light beer brand to unite Americans.

He co-founded Real American Beer – a light lager – that’s emblazed with his likeness. 

Hogan saw an opening after Bud Light was engulfed in turmoil from its woke controversy.

“I see this open lane right now,” Hogan said. “This open lane is saying, ‘We’re American and America’s been waiting for this beer.’”

Entering the crowded light beer market is going to be a challenge.

Real American Beer is going to rely on Hogan’s popularity for its marketing.

He’s appealing to the patriotism and Americana that Bud Light forgot.

“It’s middle America, it’s NASCAR, it’s wrestling, it’s country western, it’s purple mountains majesty, it’s the American flag,” Hogan explained. “It’s God, it’s country — all of the above is what America is all about.”

Hogan said that beer was about bringing people together.

“Me and Stone Cold [Steve Austin] were out in the ring, and we had a little problem there,” Hogan recalled. “Instead of going back out to the ring fighting, I said, ‘Hey brother, let’s have a beer and talk about it.’ So the idea came from just getting together and talking over a beer, so I said I’ve got a beer – Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer that will bring America back together.”

The beer is available in Missouri, Florida, Minnesota, and Rhode Island, with 17 more states to come by the end of the summer.

Hogan has an experienced tag team partner

Real American Beer CEO Terri Francis was a vice president at the investment and innovation division of Anheuser-Busch InBev.

The beer industry has seen sales drop as alcohol consumption declines among Americans.

Francis thinks that Real American Beer can change that.

“There is plenty of space in the market to grow the beer industry,” Francis explained. “What we would love to be able to say is that we were able to bring people back to the category.”

Hogan traveled to St. Louis – the home of Anheuser-Busch – to promote his beer in a city where he often competed as a wrestler.

“All the great wrestlers would come to St. Louis once a month and if you were on the card in St. Louis it was like being in Madison Square Garden,” Hogan said. “If you got the opportunity to wrestle in St. Louis that meant you were really something and you made it.”

 The WWE Hall of Famer said that he didn’t have much time to enjoy the city in his wrestling days.

“But this time, it’s almost like I’m on vacation because I don’t have to get kicked in the head, I don’t have to work out and all I have to do is meet my friends, so I’m just really excited,” Hogan explained.

Bud Light has an up-and-comer looking to take the title away from it.
