A doctor in Congress is worried about Biden’s health

President Joe Biden has refused to take a neurological test after his disastrous debate performance to silence concerns about his cognitive decline.

But one physician is already concerned about the President’s health. 

Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) has been a practicing surgeon for more than 30 years and was on the faculty of East Carolina University’s medical school.

He said in a video posted to social media that Biden is showing signs of a cognitive decline.

“In my tenure, I’ve seen many, many individuals succumb to cognitive decline,” Murphy said. “Tragedy, two weeks ago, when we saw the President of the United States exhibit those qualities of decline of cognition.”

Murphy noted that he’s had to treat many older patients during his time as a doctor.

“He’s obviously had a decline in the ability to think, to react, to assimilate data,” Murphy explained. “What we’re facing now is a country that – we were always at risk, we were always in peril of other forces coming in from the outside. We now have a President that, by and large, the majority of individuals do not feel he is up to the task.”

Murphy – one of 19 doctors serving in Congress – said that the country no longer had a President who was capable of doing the job. 

“Even more concerning is the fact that the media, the White House, political figures on that side, have lied to the American people,” Murphy continued. “And so, I’m concerned about the President’s health now. He’s in my prayers. But we need a President of the United States that is able to stand strong, to think well, to think hard for the American people in times of crisis. And sadly enough, today we don’t have one.”

Biden could silence critics with one decision

The White House hasn’t been transparent with the American people about Biden’s health.

Visitor logs revealed that Dr. Kevin Cannard – a Parkinson’s specialist – made eight trips to the White House over the past eight months, according to a report from the New York Times. 

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre admitted to lying to the press when she was asked about a visit Cannard had with White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor in January.

Biden could erase the concerns that voters and even a growing of Democrats have by taking a cognitive exam and releasing the results.

He told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that being the President every day was like passing a cognitive exam.

There are only two explanations why Biden won’t do it, and neither of them is good.

He’s either afraid of the results a test would show, or he’s taken one, and he doesn’t want the public to know how bad his memory has become.
