The Democrat Party is in crisis over what to do about Joe Biden as their Presidential nominee.

Now they’re looking for alternatives that could bail them. 

And Democrats got some bad news about Kamala Harris that put them in this awful situation. 

Democrats are looking for someone to save the party from Joe Biden

The Democrat Party’s confidence in President Joe Biden has collapsed after his shocking display of physical and cognitive decline during the debate.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is working on a plan to push him out of the race.

And a growing number of Democrat elected officials, donors, and pundits have called for him to step aside.

Vice President Kamala Harris is the next in line and has the advantage of being able to inherit the money their campaign has raised if Biden dropped out.

Democrats know that Harris is a terrible politician, but they’ve talked themselves into believing that she’s a superior option to Biden because she’s slightly more coherent.

But Democrats’ favorite data nerd, Nate Silver, poured cold water all over the fantasy that Harris can save the day.

He said that Harris is “mediocre at best” and would lose to former President Donald Trump in a potential matchup.

“I mean, you can think Kamala Harris is a mediocre at best politician, which I do, and she might not be your cup of tea, but it’s just a bizarre argument,” Silver said on the Risky Business podcast. “Do you not have the leverage to say, ‘Let’s agree that Kamala Harris is a less bad option?’”

Sliver said that Harris at least had the ability to run a campaign.

“You’re not lying to the American public about her fitness for office,” Silver stated. “And you know what? She’ll probably lose, but Biden’s probably gonna lose too.”

Silver has resigned himself to thinking that either Biden or Harris would be underdogs to Trump this fall. 

Democrats stuck with no good options

Harris entered the 2020 Democrat Presidential Primary as someone who was viewed by Democrats and their media allies as one of their top contenders.

But she dropped out of the race before a single vote was cast after a failure to launch.

Sliver noted that Biden selecting her as his running mate was a nod to Democrats’ obsession with woke identity politics after George Floyd’s death in 2020.

“What’s it say about her? What’s it say about how cynical the decision was?” Silver asked. “Maybe you picked her in… summer 2020 because you were in a period where there was a lot of this racial reckoning, so-called, right?”

Silver said that he would be upset if he was in Harris’ position.

“The problems were mostly the fact that, politically, she wasn’t a very compelling candidate, although she might have some upside potential,” Sliver remarked. “But what’s it say about Kamala Harris that none of these Democrats entrust her? If I were her, I’d be like, ‘F**k these f**king people.’”

Kamala Harris is still the same candidate that crashed and burned in the Democrat Primary.

Democrats have options in the Presidential race, but none of them are actually any good.
