Mark Hamill, the actor from “Star Wars,” made fun of President Trump’s ear bandage during the RNC on social media.

It goes without saying that the bandage concealed a graze wound from a bullet from a rifleman’s attempt to kill the president on a rooftop a few days earlier.

As Trump prepared to enter the convention’s main chamber, Hamill shared a close-up picture of the former president, revealing the bandage.

“How pathetic Luke Skywalker is in real life is incredibly sad.”

On his X account, Hamill posted, “1st APPEARANCE of a ludicrously large ear bandage, allegedly not needed prior to tonight.”

The actor’s remark elicited reactions from readers across the spectrum, and the response was immediate and intense.

“The proprietor of a gaming website told me you were a sad and pitiful guy.”

“Was Mark ever shot?” Comedian Tim Young was questioned.

The publication Not the Bee wrote, “It’s so awful how lame Luke Skywalker is in real life.”

As one influencer put it to Hamill, his “soul needs a bandage.”

During a recent visit to the White House, Hamill appeared in the press room with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Although Biden indicated Hamill might call him Joe, Hamill told reporters he addressed Biden as “Mr. President.” Subsequently, Hamill claimed to have asked to address the president as “Joebi-Wan Kenobi.”

The beloved fantasy movie star has been unwavering in his support for the Biden administration, as well as expressing contempt for President Trump.

Hamill shared a picture of himself in an anti-Trump outfit on social media in March 2024. “I voted for four more years of an orange-free Oval Office,” the photo’s caption said.

Furthermore, in Hamill’s direct correspondence with Biden’s X account, he has said, “Joe Biden is the finest president we’ve ever had,” in response to the claim that “Donald Trump is the worst president we’ve ever had.”

In response to the same comment once more, he referred to the slur hurled at Trump as the “understatement of the century.”

Nevertheless, Hamill hit back at Trump, but, unlike his first remark, which was an observation, his second one seemed to be a misreading of a picture showing the former president with his eyes closed.

“For once, I’m with him,” Hamill wrote alongside a photo of Trump and a photo of himself in a reclined position. Despite Hamill’s implied claim that Trump passed out at the RNC, readers pointed out that Hamill took the shot during a period of prayer during the gathering.
