From The Atlantic’s headline of “The Gunman and the Would-be Dictator” to comments from assorted leftists about the gunman ‘not missing next time,’ the temperature of the campaign has not lowered in any way. In fact, if anything, it has simply been raised to a new level with the addition of JD Vance as the VP nominee. The radical left can’t seem to help itself – their lack of true positions on the issues that matter is obvious. They only have their hate to propel them. Temperature down yet? Nope,

The Atlantic has always twisted Donald Trump’s words. But then, so has the New York Times, who ran a hit piece on him calling him a ‘fascist’ just after the assassination attempt. And then there’s the Trump-hating Washington Post, whose Trump Derangement Syndrome is well known. None of those media are any different than CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC. Then, of course, there’s The View, where the Harpies continually say things that are egregious and nasty.  Not one of these people have said anything about the issues that matter to ordinary people. Temperature down? Nope. Then there are the lies.

Then there are the Trump-hating celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell who called him a “sick man“, and Rob Reiner who called Trump “mentally unfit” to be President in 2017, but also called on Biden to step down after his disastrous debate performance. We all know about Robert De Niro’s profanity-laced hatred of all things Donald Trump.

“When Trump ran in 2016 it was like a joke,” he said in the courthouse speech. “This buffoon running for president. No, never could happen. We have forgotten the lessons of history that showed us other clowns who weren’t taken seriously until they became vicious dictators. With Trump, we have a second chance, and no one is laughing now.”  Robert De Niro

Real Trump hatred and violent rhetoric:

One staffer, Jacqueline Marsaw of the J6 committee chairman, was recently fired for saying the shooter should “learn how to shoot” and not miss next time.  She also claimed the assassination attempt was “staged.”

Kyle Gass, a member of Jack Black’s Tenacious D band, made a similar remark and caused Mr. Black to cancel his entire tour.  It also may have caused the band to be deported from Australia. Temperature down? Nope.

George Stephanopoulos claimed that Trump and his supporters were to blame for the assassination attempt.

Let’s be blunt: these kinds of things have been around since before Donald Trump took office. From Kathy Griffin’s bloody Trump head to the Hamilton Play’s depiction of a Trump assassination, to The Views’ horrific statements, the left can’t help themselves because they have no truth in them. And they all refuse to take responsibility for their own rhetoric.

In short, the political hate speech will not tone down.  JD Vance is now at the center of the fray as well as President Trump. Media fools like Rachel Maddow are calling him “noxious” and including him in their hateful statements.

But there is one thing they’re missing: if Donald Trump was really the vengeful dictator they claim, he never would have chosen JD Vance as his running mate. It shatters their entire narrative. Is the temperature down? Not any time soon, guaranteed.
