And one of Joe Biden’s friends revealed a dark secret he never wanted anyone to know.

Biden’s close friend pulls back the curtain

The knives are out for President Joe Biden.

His disastrous performance in the debate sent Democrats and their media allies into a full-blown panic.

A slow drip of damaging information about Biden is coming out from Democrats’ media allies in a bid to force him out of the race.

Author Chris Whipple wrote an insider account of the Biden White House in his book, The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House.

He was given access to the Democrat President and his top advisors to put the book together.

In an appearance on CNN NewsNight, Whipple added to the drip of damning information leaking out about the Democrat President by revealing that one of Biden’s close friends believes he should take a neurological exam.

“I will tell you that one of the President’s closest friends thinks that Joe Biden should go up to Walter Reed, have a complete neurological exam, release the results, and let the chips fall,” Whipple said. 

“Now, I don’t think that friend has said this out loud to Joe Biden because that’s a hard thing even for a close friend to tell him, but I don’t think he’s going there without a major push,” he added.

The author said that he talked to people in Biden’s inner circle who claimed that the Democrat President was fine cognitively.

“He obviously walked like a zombie because he has arthritis and all the rest of it, but no, I didn’t get any indication that he was cognitively impaired, and everybody insisted otherwise,” Whipple explained.

Joe Biden is facing major questions about his cognitive ability after the debate.

He could silence many of his doubters by taking a cognitive exam and making the results public.

But he’s repeatedly refused to do it.

Biden told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that he takes a cognitive exam every day by simply holding the title of President. 

Either he doesn’t want to know the results, or he’s taken one, and it’s not pretty.

Biden runs a tightly scripted White House

Whipple revealed something surprising he learned when he had access to the White House during the two years he spent writing his book.

“I can tell you having written a book about it,” Whipple said. “This White House is the most batten down, buttoned up, scripted White House in modern history.”

He said that he was never allowed to speak directly to Biden.

“When it came to Biden himself, the deal was written answers to written questions. I’d never heard of that before,” Whipple explained.

He thought that the White House had “something to hide” or was “just obsessed with controlling the narrative.”
