Whistleblower exposes the Biden regime’s funding of child slavery

General Services Administration employee Deborah White was transferred in 2021 to help with the Biden border crisis because she grew up speaking Spanish.

White was transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to help with unaccompanied minors.

Unaccompanied minors are illegal alien kids who are traveling alone to enter the United States.

She said that kids she worked with told her that the Mexican drug cartels used them in forced labor or sexually exploited them.

But the situation didn’t get any better for them once they made it into the United States.

White told the John Solomon Reports podcast that the Biden regime was in a rush to get these kids off the government’s hands.

That resulted in them being sent into unsafe situations, like unvetted sponsors and shelters.

White ran background checks on sponsors and became worried that they could be connected to human trafficking.

Her boss dismissed her concerns after she sounded the alarm on what was happening.

She eventually went to the HHS Inspector General as a whistleblower.

“It’s disgusting. Honestly, if I didn’t live it, I would have a hard time believing it because it’s so egregious,” White told Just the News. “If I didn’t live this experience, I understand why people think you know that we’re crazy people or something. But we’re not, this is the reality.”

Other whistleblowers come forward

White and her fellow HHS whistleblower, Tara Rodas, spoke to a group of Republican Senators at a roundtable about the horrors they uncovered.

“What I discovered was horrifying: children were being trafficked with billions of taxpayer dollars by a contractor failing to vet sponsors and process children safely, with government officials complicit in it,” White said.

White said that she and Rodas first discovered that something was wrong in June 2021, but government officials ignored their concerns.

“Children were sent to addresses that were abandoned houses or nonexistent in some cases,” White explained. “In Michigan, a child was sent to an open field, even after we reported making a 911 call after hearing someone screaming for help, yet the child was still sent.”

White discovered that the fake documents were rampant with the adult sponsors kids were turned over to.

“When we questioned documents, HHS ORR leadership said, ‘You’re not fake ID experts, and your job is not to investigate the sponsor. Your job is to reunify the child with the sponsor,’” White told the Senators.

Joe Biden let the country become overwhelmed with an influx of illegal aliens after he opened the border in 2021.

That gave the worst elements of society a chance to exploit the situation.
