A newly revealed prediction from the infamous mystic Baba Vanga claims that the end of humanity is coming . . . and the downfall starts in 2025.

The late Bulgarian clairvoyant, who passed away over a quarter of a century ago, is still causing a stir with her prophecies that continue to manifest in real life. Despite losing her sight as a child, Baba Vanga eerily foresaw numerous global events, nailing predictions like the 9/11 terror attacks and even Brexit.

And now her latest, and very worrying prediction could spell bad news for, well, everyone on Earth. The woman who is also known as “Nostradamus of the Balkans” predicted – before she died in 1996, obviously – that the world will end in the year 5079.

But while that seems like a very long way off, the downfall of it will start in 2025. She claims that there will be a cosmic event of “unimaginable proportions” nearer to the end, but that 2025 will see a major conflict in Europe leading to a “great reduction” of the continent's population.

She then claims that humans will fly to the planet Venus in 2028, with the polar ice cars melting in 2033, leading to a huge rise in sea levels. Somehow, this will all lead to the re-emergence of communism in 2076, with alien contact being made in 2130 – keeping up?

Then, if that wasn't enough, there will be a global drought in the year 2170, a war with Mars in 2005, and then the destruction of Earth in 3797.

But fear not, we'll all have moved to other planets by that point, so the total downfall of humanity won't come for around another 1,200 or so years after that.

This is probably not the news the new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, was hoping to hear . . .
