It’s a great time to be a fan of international soccer; just one week after the 2024 UEFA European Championship kicked off, the Copa America began.

Teams from 16 North and South American countries will descend on the United States for three weeks of soccer in 14 cities across 10 states. Only eight remain in the competition at this point.

This includes, of course, the reigning Copa America champions: Argentina. Lionel Messi leads the team, who are again a favorite to take home the championship. Messi, who turned 37 during the tournament, has hinted that this could be his last appearance in an Argentinian kit, though nothing has been decided for certain yet.
