Former President Donald Trump has picked his running mate and so far, he’s the only who knows who it is.
“In my mind, yeah,” Trump answered when asked on Saturday in Philadelphia if he has decided who would be his vice president, Fox News reported.
When asked if the person he has picked is aware of his pick, Trump said, “No, nobody knows.”
Trump added this person will “most likely” attend Thursday’s debate between Trump and President Joe Biden in Atlanta.
“They’ll be there,” Trump said. “I think we have a lot of people coming.”
Trump, who was interviewed by Fox News’ Alexis McAdams, talked about when he will announce his pick.
“I’ll be announcing it right around the time of the convention,” Trump said.
The Republican National Convention starts July 15 in Milwuakee.
Trump heads to New Orleans Monday night for a campaign fundraiser with House Majority Leader Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana as a special guest.
Biden is expected to remain at Camp David as he prepares for Thursday’s debate.
