Prior to his rally in Philly, President Donald Trump met was greeted by supporters at Tony and Nick's Steaks. He met with a young fan who was brought to tears and he tipped workers at a steak shop $500.
One of the heartwarming videos shows the young supporter at the steak shop dressed like the former president in a navy-blue suit, red tie, and blonde Trump wig, being greeted by Trump with a signed $20 bill and a photo. The young supporter was brought to tears when he met Trump.
“I like that kid! So, if your parents don’t want you, I’ll take you,” Trump joked, eliciting laughter from the crowd and leaving the boy smiling.
Despite Philadelphia being a traditionally Democratic stronghold, the presumptive GOP nominee has taken the time to meet with supporters, similar to what he has done in recent weeks in the Bronx, Detroit, and the Jersey Shore.
The former president was also seen giving a $500 tip to the employees and emphasized his proposal to make tips tax-free for restaurant workers.
Pennsylvania is a crucial swing state that could be decisive for either Trump or Biden in the upcoming November election.
Trump is holding a rally at Temple University on Saturday night. According to Trump’s campaign, the former president will "highlight how Biden’s weak presidency is devastating American families, which is why only 34 percent of Pennsylvanians approve of the job Joe Biden is doing" at the rally, per Fox News.
