The offer that Israel should stand by is return the hostages together with an unconditional surrender which would prevent “innocents” (if there really are any) from being the subject of collateral damage. The others would be subject to trials and the consequences of the trials, similar to those of the Japanese and German warmongers after WWII.
The alternative for Hamas is complete annihilation when Israel takes back Rafa. Unfortunately this latter path will result in the deaths of about 100 Israeli soldiers, but it would wipe out an evil in this world and ensure that Hamas will never be a threat again.
