Trump announced on Thursday that he was naming Susie Wiles as his White House chief of staff. Wiles was one of Trump’s campaign managers in the 2024 campaign. Hiring a former campaign manager to be his chief of staff admittedly is neither shocking nor particularly newsworthy. However, when Wiles starts the job on Jan. 20, 2025, she will become the first female White House chief of staff in the nation’s history.

Not bad for a guy who liberals, Democrats, left-wingers, and other political agitators branded as a sexist and a misogynist and frantically warned was going to strip women’s civil rights away and whatever other hyperbolic, hysterical, and baseless accusations they made. Less than one day after being declared the winner of the 2024 presidential election, in which voters soundly rejected left-wing idealism, Trump proved them wrong yet again.

However, this is par for the course of the president-elect and his political opponents. The accusations and insults they launched at him were never grounded in reality and only existed in a realm of unhinged, fanatical hysterics — the kind of people who are not only lamenting that Vice President Kamala Harris lost the election, but, as grown adults, are posting messages on social media in which they have engaged in disturbing, concerning, and humiliating behavior such as screaming, openly weeping, proclaiming they are terrified, and asking for hugs. It was all done by people who weren’t interested in being truthful but rather interested in being fearful. 

Meanwhile, Trump goes out, gets results, and regularly proves fanatical Democrats wrong. By all accounts, Wiles is a wonderful selection for the chief of staff. If Trump were the demonic, sexist, misogynist man the Democrats who spent the last nine years vilifying him as such said he was, Wiles wouldn’t have received the position. Trump rewards people who are good at their jobs and dismisses those who aren’t.

The Democratic propaganda machine is a strong, powerful opponent. However, Trump showed that it can be defeated. He was able to communicate his message effectively and show just how dishonest, hateful, and divisive Democrats were. He was never any of the awful things Democrats claimed. It took some time, but most people came to realize it. It should serve as a future warning of how dishonest the Democratic political machine is, and it should forever obliterate its credibility. 

They cried (fascist, racist, sexist, and misogynist) wolf one too many times, and after years of getting away with it, it finally backfired. Meanwhile, the guy who everyone on the Left warned was so anti-woman just helped make women’s history months before he returned to office.
