ER Editor: You could script the Israeli victim response to this post-football match violence. We’re resisting cries of anti-Semitism and ‘pogrom‘ here (Geert Wilders never fails in his support for Zionism). There’s more to this. It appears that Israeli football fans set this situation alight according to the pro-Israeli reporting of Dutch news site De Dagelijske Standaard below. That’s telling.

Israeli football hooligans tore down Palestine flags as they marched through Amsterdam in a Wednesday night of chaos ahead of Maccabi Tel Aviv’s visit to Ajax.

Videos show dozens of hooded figures dressed fully in black cheering and chanting ‘f*** you Palestine’ and ‘ole’ as one climbed halfway up the front of a building and removed a flag on the Rokin, a major street. 

Footage also shows one thug thumping a taxi with crowbar before the driver takes off, while there have been reported clashes between the visiting hooligans and cabbies. 

Meanwhile, clips shared by a prominent pro-hooligan page depict bust-ups purported to be between Maccabi fans and a group of Moroccan Ajax supporters. The account has previously shared reliable information, such as when Manchester United fans were attacked by Fenerbahce ultras in Istanbul in October. 

Amsterdam police have not made any arrests and have not confirmed that the perpetrators were definitely Maccabi fans despite the tensions in the city centre.

And we know that Zionists have been flooding Europe with people from a variety of countries for decades, including those who for cause hate Israel. Their country has treated by Gazans like crap with zero remorse – it’s embedded in their culture, then their soccer fans then come in provoking the locals, which necessarily include a lot of Middle Easterners. It’s not rocket science. 

Maccabi Tel Aviv got trounced by Ajax Amsterdam 5-0.

Things went wrong last night and last night in Amsterdam. And not a little bit, either. After hooligans from Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv misbehaved two days ago, last night things went wild. Ajax hooligans and Hamas supporters (eh?) literally went hunting for Israelis. Then those were brutally beaten up.

Looking at modern Holland, one can only conclude that our country has become a Middle Eastern garbage dump. Of course, the misbehavior of Maccabi hooligans two days ago was downright criminal. That they attacked Palestinian supporters and beat up a cab driver is totally unacceptable. That hooliganism must be dealt with harshly.

But what happened last night and then last night is even worse. For it appears that a greeting of Hamas supporters (and possibly Ajax hooligans?) literally went hunting for Israelis (or in this case Jews, because how do you find out that someone is Israeli? If someone walked up with a yarmulke last night he was the buck).

It’s so bad that fifty people have already been arrested. And that’s not even the whole story. No, it’s so serious that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent two planes to the Netherlands to “evacuate” Maccabi fans and other Israelis. From the Netherlands. Not from Afghanistan, not from Egypt, not from Lebanon, not from Jordan…. but from the Netherlands.

Prime Minister Schoof writes on X that it is “now quiet in the capital.” Yes, that is quite true. They struck in the night. The perpetrators have now gone to bed…. and Maccabi soccer players have left for home. No doubt the same goes for many of the club’s supporters. As prime minister, you certainly don’t have to be proud of this, of course.

International and national outrage is logically expressed against these disturbances. Or rather, against these crude, anti-Semitic attacks. And no, at DDS we don’t use that word “anti-Semitism” easily. In fact, we hate it when people do nowadays. But in this case, you have no choice but to conclude that this is hardcore anti-Semitism. Pure Jew-hatred. And it is rancid to behold.

Israel sends planes to save Jews from Amsterdam ‘pogrom’ (VIDEOS)

Several Maccabi Tel Aviv football fans were injured during riots after Thursday’s match against Dutch side Ajax

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered two planes to be dispatched to Amsterdam to bring back Israeli fans who were violently assaulted by an anti-Israel mob in the Dutch capital, according to Netanyahu’s office.

Supporters of Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv football team were attacked in Amsterdam on Thursday night as they left the stadium after a Europa League match against Dutch side Ajax.

At least ten Israelis were injured in the attacks, but the severity of their injuries remains unclear, the Israeli Foreign Ministry stated, adding that the affected fans are currently out of contact. It advised Israeli citizens not to leave their hotels.

Israel’s National Security Council has urged people not to display Israeli or Jewish symbols in public.

Netanyahu urged Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and local law enforcement “to act decisively and swiftly against the rioters, and to ensure the wellbeing of our citizens.”

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon condemned the violence as “a pogrom.”

“These are the true faces of the supporters of the radical terrorism we are fighting. The Western world needs to wake up now!” he wrote in a post on X.

The embassy shared a video on social media purportedly showing violent incidents involving Maccabi fans.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement that around 30 people have been arrested so far.

Amsterdam police said they increased their presence in the city on Wednesday night ahead of the match. On Wednesday night, officers prevented a confrontation between a group of taxi drivers and a group of visitors, according to a police statement on X.

They also reported another incident in which a Palestinian flag was torn down in the city center by “currently unknown persons.”

Some media outlets reported that Israeli football hooligans tore down Palestinian flags as they marched through Amsterdam on Wednesday night, which could have led to a subsequent confrontation.

Earlier this year, a survey from the Fundamental Rights Agency showed that Jewish people in the EU have faced high levels of anti-Semitism. A dramatic rise in anti-Semitic incidents has been recorded since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza last October when the militant group attacked Israel, killing around 1,100 people and taking more than 200 hostages.

Israel’s bombing and ground operations against Hamas in Gaza, in which over 43,000 people are reported to have been killed, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, have sparked pro-Palestinian and anti-war protests around the world.
