Happy Thursday, America!
Still recovering from Trump’s election victory today? We’re happy to pour a Brew out for you.
Kamala Harris Concedes the Race, Lifts Part of Speech from George H. W. Bush
It took her until late afternoon, but Kamala Harris finally conceded the 2024 presidential race to Donald Trump. She sought to lift the spirits of her supporters, particularly the younger ones, some who were in tears. She insisted that the battle continues. “Sometimes the fight takes a while, that doesn’t mean we won’t win.”

While she congratulated Donald Trump and promised a peaceful transition, Harris did not mention any interest in working with Trump to deal with the nation’s issues. “While I concede this election,” she said, “I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.”
According to the Trump campaign, Harris’s concession call to Trump was gracious, with both candidates agreeing on the need for unity. Trump “acknowledged Harris for her “strength, professionalism, and tenacity throughout the campaign.” Joe Biden also called Trump to congratulate him, and invited the president-elect to the White House to discuss the transition.
It seems bizarre to invite “Hitler” over for tea and cookies. But such is politics.
Toward the end of the speech, Harris spoke to those who think we’re entering a period of darkness. “Let’s fill the sky with the light of a million billion stars,” she said. That’s taken straight from George H. W. Bush’s speech about a “thousand points of light” — but you, know with inflation being what it is, and the ban on incandescent light bulbs…
Reaction to Trump Victory
Congratulations poured into Trump headquarters from world leaders Wednesday — most notably Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the ‘peace through strength’ approach in global affairs,” Zelenskyy said. “This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer.”
Trump insists he will settle the Ukraine-Russian war quickly and has reportedly pressured Netanyahu to finish up in Gaza before he takes office.
Netanyahu sounded almost giddy to have Trump back in the saddle, given the hostility he’s faced from the Biden-Harris administration.
Quick question: Now that she’s lost, do we need to keep reminding people it’s Kamala Harris’s administration, too?
We’ve also seen reactions from religious leaders. Rev. Franklin Graham was very quick to tweet out his congratulations.
Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on being elected the 47th president of the United States of America! I pray that you will look to God every day for His guidance and wisdom.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano spoke of this victory as a serious blow against the New World Order and the “Deep Church, which today holds the Catholic Church hostage.”
The victory of Donald J. Trump in the electoral competition for the presidency of the United States of America constitutes a historic moment in the dramatic events present and marks a formidable setback for the criminal plan of the New World Order. I express my deepest congratulations to President Trump, while I thank Our Lord for preventing the United States and the western world from falling definitively into the tentacles of Deep State and globalist tyranny.
The battle against the subversive elite of psychopathic criminals holding the West hostage is not over, but it starts now. I urge American Catholics and all Christians to pray for President Trump to protect him in this transition towards the White House settlement, guiding him in the unavoidable grubbing up of the lobby of corrupt and perverts enslaved to the Deep State. His determined action against the traitors of the nation will also weaken the work of Deep Church, which today holds the Catholic Church hostage. God bless America.
Naturally, there has been also manner of nastiness from Trump critics. However, we want to single out one harsh Trump critic and Harris surrogate who actually showed some class: Mark Cuban. He offered his congrats to Trump for winning “fair and square.”
Congrats @realDonaldTrump. You won fair and square.
Congrats to @elonmusk as well. #Godspeed

Godspeed, indeed.
Quick Gripe
The blame game for Harris’ loss is underway. MSNBC host Joy Reid is blaming “white women.” We’re also hearing a lot about misogyny. The “uneducated.” Tim Walz. The campaign focusing on fascism. Joe Biden. The Russians. Too much pumpkin spice in America’s fall diet. (I might have made that one up. But the struggle is real.)
What is the problem with simply admitting that Kamala Harris was a bad candidate who was put in an awful position? It’s like putting a fourth-string quarterback who could barely make the practice squad into the Super Bowl on the one-yard line against the Kansas City Chiefs with 30 seconds on the clock and the team down by two touchdowns, then blaming the refs for losing. And calling the Chiefs’ fans racists and sexists while they’re at it.
The woman is just a bantamweight, and she was taking on the Muhammed Ali of politics. Plus, her policies and incompetencies had already wrecked the country. You don’t need a rocket scientist like Elon Musk to figure this out.
I will also add, as we wrote in our list of 10 key moments from the 2024 campaign season, that history is likely to record that Donald Trump won the election not on November 5, but on July 13, when he rose to his feet, pumping his fist and yelling, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
They Had It All
The X handle @WallStreetApes laid out the forces that were aligned against Donald Trump. Seeing them all in one spot makes what happened Tuesday that much more amazing
They had complete control of the media
They had complete control of our federal law enforcement agencies
They had corrupt politicians, district attorneys, and judges
They had all the celebrities
They paid for influencers
They relentlessly censored us
They controlled the voting machines
They imported millions of new voters
They had unlimited surveillance over everyone
They had lobbyists
They had BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street
They had control of our legal system
They had control of public school systems
They had control of our universities
They had control of our military
They had control of Homeland Security
They had control of hundreds of NGOs
They had complete control of the financial markets
They controlled our regulation agencies
They had more money
They controlled foreign policy
They taxed us to death
They flooded our social media with bots and trolls
They controlled Big Tech
They controlled Google
They controlled the talk shows, radio shows, magazines, and broadcasting licenses
They had the largest corporations on earth behind them
They had decades of experience
The military industrial complex was behind them
They had data centers running prediction models
They had all that and they still lost.
That’s all true … but then again, they also had Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Tim Walz.
Quick Thought
Perhaps you saw liberal friends in the middle of the night posting all manner of doom and gloom and woe on social media. You certainly saw colossal meltdowns from some people there. But I wonder. Did any Kamala Harris voters feel less distraught over Trump’s victory as the day went on than they thought they would?
