Donald Trump delivered his finaly rally speeches of this years' long presidential campaign in Pittsburgh and Grand Rapids on Monday night as Kamala Harris offered her final speech of her three-month long campaign in Philadelphia. Trump was flanked by his family in Pittsburgh. As much as he promised policy proposals for a second term, should he win it, he touted the achievements of his first term.

Greeted with chants of USA, Trump promised to close the borders, tighten restrictions on illegal immigration, stop the drug trade and stop human trafficking across the US-Mexico border, and undertake mass deportations of those illegal immigrants who are currently in the US.

He told gathered supporters and press the past four years under the Biden-Harris adminisrtation has been a "catastrophic failure" full of betrayal and humiliation. There has been "soaring prices," he said, "and economic anguish at home" along with "war and chaos abroad."

In his closing, Trump leaned into his message that life in America was simply better under his administration that it has been under the Biden-Harris administration and would be under a Harris-Walz regime.

His message to Americans, he said "is simple: we do not have to live this way. We do not have to settle for weakness, incompetence, decline, and decay." 

Encouraging supporters to show up at the polls, Trump stated, "With your vote tomorrow, we can fix every single problem our country faces — and lead America, and indeed the world, to new heights of glory." Emphasizing his vision of American leadership, he clarified, "We’ll help the world – a lot of people think we’re isolationists, we’re not – but we want the world to appreciate what we’re doing. They have to appreciate that we’re helping them."

The 78-year-old former president laid out his agenda, pledging to "end inflation," halt the “invasion of criminals coming across our border,” and bolster military strength, especially after what he described as the Harris-Biden administration’s withdrawal of military assets in Afghanistan. “Over the past four years, Kamala has orchestrated the most egregious betrayal that any leader in American history has ever inflicted upon the people,” he asserted. He accused Vice President Harris of failing in her duties, saying she "eradicated our sovereign borders [and] unleashed an army of gangs and criminal migrants from prisons and jails."

Promising swift action if elected, Trump committed to "end the migrant invasion" and restore order, vowing to launch "the largest deportation program in US history" on his first day back in office. "The day I take office, the migrant invasion ends, and the restoration of our country begins," he declared.

Trump also gained several notable endorsements on the campaign’s final day, including support from conservative commentator Megyn Kelly, popular podcaster Joe Rogan, and the son of baseball legend Roberto Clemente. In a surprise appearance alongside Trump, Kelly told rally-goers that immigration was her "number one" issue, adding, "He will be a protector of women and it’s why I’m voting for him." She urged Pennsylvanians to "vote Trump and get ten friends to vote Trump too," stressing the importance of the key swing states in the election.
