Investigative journalist Andy Ngo, senior editor with The Post Millennial, was told to "go back to China" while reporting at a migrant encampment in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the city center at an encampment near the canal.

The individual yelled the racial slur at Ngo, who is a Vietnamese American, was an illegal immigrant living inside the encampment, which consists of all adult males from various nations, predominately the Middle East and Africa.

While Ngo was filming at the encampment, the migrant interrupted his coverage and yelled in a threatening tone behind a sea of green tents: "You! Go back to the China."

Additionally, a non-governmental organization (NGO) worker who was out pitching tents for the illegal immigrants attempted to prevent Ngo from conducting interviews with the migrants. She falsely claimed that it was illegal to record the migrants in public, and refused to answer Ngo's questions.

This comes as Ireland is currently grappling with its mass migration crisis, which has resulted in a record-breaking influx of illegal immigrants into the European nation, causing significant resentment among Irish citizens. The migrants have contributed to an increase in violent crime in the country, which has prompted widespread anti-immigration protests by legal Irish residents.

One of the Afghan migrants Ngo interviewed said he took a boat from France to get into the country, which is the notorious route illegal immigrants use to invade the United Kingdom. Once they make their way into the UK, the migrants either stay in England or journey to adjacent countries.

Over the past several years, mass migration has been a top issue among voters throughout Europe. In March, Ireland's first gay and first non-white Taoiseach Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, announced his resignation. His father immigrated to Ireland from India and his mother is a native Irish citizen.

Additionally, right-wing political parties came out victorious in the recent European Union elections. This after conservative candidates ran on platforms to address the mass migration crisis.
