Suni Lee is adding Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model to her resume.
The U.S. Olympic gymnast — who won her second gold medal in the team competition at this summer’s Paris Games — will make her SI Swim debut in the magazine’s 2025 issue in May, the brand announced on Monday.
Lee, 21, modeled a brown bikini in a series of videos on the SI Swim Instagram Stories, which have since expired.
The two-time Olympian, who was named Glamour’s Woman of the Year for 2024, was seen modeling outdoors in sunny Boca Raton, Fla.
Lee also appeared in a teaser video, which showed her tossing a leotard to the side.
“Leo out, swimsuits in,” SI Swim wrote.
“Is this real life???” Lee wrote on her Instagram Story, including a snapshot of the behind the scenes.
“We are thrilled to launch our shoot season for the 2025 issue with an extraordinary lineup of powerful female athletes,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said. “This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports. They defy stereotypes and champion equality, inspiring young girls to envision themselves as both athletes and leaders.
“At SI Swimsuit, we’ve always celebrated the future of women, and there’s no better way to honor these remarkable achievements than by featuring them on the pages of our issue.”
Lee was the first of three athletes announced Monday as SI Swim’s newest athletes for the 2025 issue — including Olympic freestyle skier Eileen Gu and track and track and field sprinter Gabby Thomas, who won three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Games.
Gu, 21, and Thomas, 27, also had their photoshoots in Boca Raton, where things were paused by rain showers, as seen in SI’s Instagram Story.
In one video, Gu — a three-time Olympic medalist, model and Stanford University student — was seen typing on a laptop while getting her hair curled.
“I just picked my looks for the day so I’m really excited,” Thomas said in another clip, which showed her standing in front of a rack of swimsuits.
On Saturday, SI Swimsuit revealed World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda as the first photoshoot of its 2025 issue.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Jena Sims, the wife LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka, was excited for Korda to join the SI Swim roster.
“Kicking it off proper!! Congrats!!” Sims wrote on Instagram.
It came just before the LPGA announced Monday that Korda won the 2024 Rolex Player of the Year award.
SI Swim’s roster of athletes includes Ilona Maher, Olivia Dunne, Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe and Angel Reese.
