We knew the swing state of Georgia would ultimately show up with shenanigans, especially if former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump pulled ahead in the polling. As my colleague Nick Arama reported, it appears that Trump is likely to win the state, and of course, this was the bat signal for Blue Georgia to say, "Hold my beer."

Georgia Republicans are vowing to sue the Democratic stronghold of Fulton County after it announced extended elections office hours on Friday.
The threat came after the state GOP learned that election officials in the county, which includes Atlanta, are planning to open four election offices this weekend ‘to accommodate voters seeking to hand-return their absentee ballots.'
"This is a blatant violation of Georgia law . . . which states ‘all drop boxes shall be closed when the advance voting period ends,’" the Georgia GOP said in a statement late on Friday.
Fulton County is expected to be key to Democrats’ chances of winning Georgia again in 2024 – something that Republicans alluded to in their statement.
RNC co-chair Michael Whatley made good on that threat, not just in Fulton County, but Gwinnett, Cobb, and DeKalb counties, which all accepted ballots over the weekend against state law. These counties also barred Republican poll observers access to the county election offices, preventing them from being present to observe the ballot handling.
It looks like 2020 all over again, but Whatley said, "Not on my watch."

The Secretary of State has issued guidance to allow Republican poll watchers in but local officials REFUSE.
Our election integrity operation has filed a lawsuit.
Georgia voters demand that the state and courts ensure that these reckless counties administer fair, transparent, and secure elections. Anything less undermines public trust.
Saturday afternoon, it was reported that a judge ruled in the RNC's favor on the allowance of poll workers in all four county election offices. The issue of the ballot acceptance is still pending.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is celebrating after GOP poll watchers were allowed into four blue-leaning counties’ election offices for extended absentee ballot hours this weekend, according to party Chair Michael Whatley.
Federal and state GOP groups had threatened to sue Fulton County late Friday after it and the counties of Cobb, DeKalb and Gwinnett announced several election offices would be open this weekend for people to turn in absentee ballots in person.

UPDATE: Following our efforts, our poll watchers have now been let into the building in all four Georgia counties.
Our lawsuit over the offices remaining open is still pending, but we have eyes in the room as votes are being counted.
We will continue our aggressive efforts to enforce Georgia law and protect the vote.
Fulton County is the home of District Attorney Fani Willis and all her mess, and was the epicenter of the 2020 election issues. So, no surprises here and on brand. DeKalb, pretty much the same. These are the counties that house Atlanta and the entertainment community that engineers much of the Kamala Harris GOTV and twerking operations. Gwinnett and Cobb used to be reliably red, but have shifted in the last four years thanks to the influx of Democrat entertainment industry types who fled California and New York, only to bring their terrible voting habits into Georgia.

GOP Victory for Election Integrity With New PA Supreme Court Decision on Misdated Mail Ballots
US Supreme Court Gives PA the Go-Ahead to Count Provisional Ballots of Mail-In Voters
With recent rulings in Pennsylvania regarding polling place hours for in-person absentee voting, mis-dated mail-in ballots, and provisional ballots, the pending ruling on the Georgia ballots in question could go any number of ways. Along with these Democrat shenanigans, part of their formula is injecting confusion in order to suppress voter enthusiasm. Same playbook, different tactics; but the result is always the same.
