If you’re with the Chicago Teachers’ Union which is demanding $145,000 salaries, free abortion and weight loss surgeries (and do they ever need those) and money for migrants and ‘green schools’, it’ll help if your voting base can’t do math.

And Chicago teachers have been doing their part.

Here’s the ‘$50 billion contract’ that CTU, whose former official, Mayor Brandon Johnson, is in the driver’s seat, wants.

CTU wants massive pay raises, stipends and additional personnel – all of which are within the traditional scope of bargaining. It also wants the city to create new housing, levy new taxes, construct new parking garages, undertake new environmental initiatives, divest pension funds from fossil fuels, fully fund infertility and abortion care for members, subsidize weight-loss surgery and drugs such as Ozempic…

Meanwhile here’s the ‘good news’ that Chicago ‘educators’ are celebrating.

In math, 19% of Chicago third through eighth graders were proficient on the IAR’s 2024 test, a 2 percentage point increase from the previous school year. During the spring of 2023, 17% of elementary school students were proficient in math, but in the spring of 2019, 24% of students were proficient.

What happened between 2019 and 2023? CTU forcibly shut down schools so its members wouldn’t have to work and could get so fat and so promiscuous that they would need taxpayer-subsidized Ozempic and abortions.

But when 4 in 5 students can’t do math, they’re more likely to vote for a CTU dominated city government that will rob them blind to pay for the Ozempic and abortions.
