An Afghan Who Helped U.S. Soldiers and Was Left Behind by Biden-Harris Endorses Donald Trump

This is a political endorsement written by a very special person: one of the thousands of Afghan interpreters who believed the promises that the U.S. government offered under the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, which said that the U.S. was committed to creating a democratic, religiously tolerant government in that country. Instead, they created chaos, which Donald Trump managed to minimize during his four years in office. By the time he left the White House, no Americans were getting killed in Afghanistan, and the country was relatively stable. The Biden-Harris regime decided on a sudden, unprepared surrender in that country, which left tens of billions in military equipment to the Taliban government, which allied with Communist China on September 11, 2001.

The author of this column is a proven U.S. ally, a legal immigrant, an entrepreneur, and a supporter of Donald Trump. He owns a thriving convenience store in San Diego, California. ABC News told the story of his escape from the Taliban:

For 19 days, a naturalized American citizen born in Afghanistan, who served the U.S. mission there for four years, has been waiting at a military base in Qatar, eager to make it back to the American Dream he built for himself and his wife.

But he acknowledges it’s better than being back in Kabul, where he was stuck for more than 50 days following the withdrawal of U.S. forces, while Taliban fighters patrol the streets, looking for blue U.S. passports like his.

“How can you leave a U.S. citizen with the background that I have, that can be hunted at any time? How can you leave them there?” Prince Wafa, 30, told ABC News in a recent phone call, expressing frustration at the Biden administration.

Here’s what he has to say now.

Will Americans Remember?

As we approach a crucial juncture in our nation’s history, I am compelled to reflect on the leadership that has shaped our path and the enduring question of remembrance. Will Americans remember the achievements and challenges of the past, and the lessons they impart for our future?

In the preceding four years, under the administration of Donald Trump, our country experienced a period of relative peace and prosperity. Despite facing relentless opposition from the Deep State and navigating the complexities of a global pandemic, President Trump upheld the values of free speech, the rule of law, and a steadfast commitment to our Constitution. Countries like Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel were spared the turmoil of conflict and extremist occupation, while our borders remained secure.

Sacrifices Forgotten

Yet, as we stand on the precipice of change, it is imperative to remember the sacrifices made by our servicemen and allies. The tragic events in Afghanistan, resulting in the loss of thirteen American lives and the abandonment of those who aided our cause, serve as a stark reminder of the consequences of failed leadership. As an Afghan interpreter who witnessed the consequences firsthand, I carry the weight of those memories with me.

In spite of the challenges faced, I was fortunate to make my way to America, carrying only $2 and a heart full of hope. Thanks to the unwavering support of U.S. servicemen and veterans, I have embarked on a journey as an entrepreneur, creating opportunities for others and striving to assist those left behind in my homeland. It is my unwavering belief in the importance of honoring promises and preserving the values that define us as a nation that motivates my support for Donald Trump.

As we look to the future, let us not forget the legacy of the past and the responsibilities it bestows upon us. The question of remembrance looms large, and it is our duty to honor the sacrifices of the past while charting a course towards a brighter tomorrow. I am proud to stand alongside those who share this vision and uphold the principles that make America great.
