It’s the stretch run for the White House. Cults are awash in Kool-Aid. It’s a tidal wave of hackery. Leftist media are ramping up to either justify and lament losses or to trumpet wins. MSNBC and CNN are leading the charge on TV, while the New York Times and the Washington Post are doing their part.

The legacy media hasn't exactly covered itself in glory this election season, but it looks like they're lowering their already-low bar even more by attempting to silence prominent conservative voices like Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson with just one week to go until Election Day. You can see the desperation setting in as there are only a few more days left to deliver an "October surprise" that will lead to Donald Trump's defeat next Tuesday.
Shapiro and a half dozen other conservative podcasters got the same “Hi” email or a DM from a New York Times “reporter” named Nico Grant. Grant has pushed for conservatives en masse to bend to his demands and verify that they were election deniers.
Shapiro and other conservatives told Grant to “F*** Off.” On Thursday, Grant's article published. And by no coincidence at all, the Washington published a similar hit job with the same theme. The lead writer of that article is, like Grant, a technology writer. The intent of both articles seems clear. It was to demonetize conservatives – to shut them down and silence them. Sad trombone - Google didn’t comply, telling Shapiro and likely others on the “hit list” that their broadcasts did not violate YouTube’s terms of service.

Nico and WaPo's Cat Zakrzewski didn’t win this round, but they will keep at it.
This week also marked the president saying that half the country was “garbage.” Although willing media cultists rushed in to cover for Biden, what he said was on video. All one needs to do is watch it. But the cultists found a magic apostrophe – and the media jumped on that.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre started spinning on Wednesday, and in essence said, “Don’t believe you lying eyes, Biden didn’t say what he actually said -- he said something that makes no sense." Ok, Biden making no sense is believable, but this time what he said wasn't mumbled.
In my article/cartoon from Wednesday, a reader with the handle "Tech in RL" made an excellent point:
Biden’s inflection of the last syllable of “supporters” is the big tell on what he meant. When a word is at the end of a thought or the end of a sentence, you use a downward inflection on that last syllable. When you intend another word to follow that, the tone is steady or rising. Listening to the video, Biden is clearly using a downward tone, meaning that was the completion of that thought. He clearly meant to say, “supporters,” with no apostrophe.

Over at MSNBC they were spinning like tops to cover for the old man. Trump jumped on that and created a visual that was perfect. He appeared in an orange vest, in a garbage truck.
Over on MSNBC, former press secretary Jen Psaki must have been gnashing her teeth for her old boss. While Biden bared his teeth and bit down on a bunch of babies.
Am I far off? What makes my cartoon funny is, it isn’t that it's a cartoon - we KNOW the cultists have workshopped something close to those arguments.
Vote.
