Former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon released from Connecticut prison after completing J6 sentence
Steven K. Bannon, a former Trump chief strategist who now hosts War Room, was released from FCI Danbury on Tuesday morning at around 3:15 am, reports indicate. The 70-year-old politico is no longer on the hook for his alleged involvement in the events of J6.
In case you missed it, Bannon was held in contempt by what The National Pulse's Raheem J. Kassam describes as "an unconstitutional Congressional committee" that investigated the J6 "riots" and decided that Bannon committed a crime by refusing to breach presidential privilege.
Under the First Step Act, Bannon was eligible for early release, but according to Kassam, the regime of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had the Bureau of Prisons (BoP) "unlawfully" ignore his request.
Bannon, a former Goldman Sachs investment banker and Breitbart News executive chairman, was met outside FCI Danbury by his daughter Maureen. Bannon is now back in the game with plans to continue hosting his War Room program.
"The four months in federal prison not only didn't break me, it empowered me," Bannon told The Associated Press (AP) in a post-release statement. "I am more energized and more focused than I've ever been in my entire life."

Bannon says he's more energized than ever to reelect Trump
According to Kristie Breshears, a spokeswoman for the federal BoP, Bannon made plans to hold a press conference in Manhattan on the day of his release to publicly discuss his time behind bars. After also returning to his radio program, Bannon said that he is more committed than ever before to reelecting Trump in a few short days.
Bannon wasted no time in once again bashing the Democrat Party, blaming former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for imprisoning him even though it was a jury that convicted him and a judge that sentenced him.
"I am proud of going to prison," Bannon said at the time of his arrest and sentencing, calling himself a "political prisoner" and wearing it like a badge of honor.
Back in May, a federal appeals court upheld Bannon's convictions, which he tried to appeal. Bannon is now asking the full appeals court to hear his case as his legal team argues that the congressional subpoena he received was invalid because Trump had asserted executive privilege.
"Prosecutors, though, say Bannon had left the White House years before and Trump had never invoked executive privilege in front of the committee," the AP reported this week.
On X / Twitter, the Royce White (@Highway_30) account shared the following video of Bannon speaking, captioning it with claims that what Bannon says in this video is the reason why "they want to kill" him."
"He knows exactly how the system works and he's telling people," White argues. "As a Harvard, Navy and Wall Street guy, you're never supposed to say how it actually works."
This is why they want to kill Steve Bannon. This is the ONLY reason. He knows exactly how the system works and he’s telling people… As a Harvard, Navy and Wall Street guy, you’re never supposed to say how it actually works. We won’t take a single fucking back step.
