At a global warming event earlier this year, Vice President Kamala Harris stated, “When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.” The White House quickly moved to let the press know she misspoke and meant to say, “reduce pollution.” Her record on children, however, shows that her verbal miscue was less a misstatement and more a Freudian slip.

Even as she worked her way up the ladder in California politics, she built a reputation of abusing her power to attack individuals who try to protect unborn children and also targeting those who run maternity homes and offer alternatives to abortion in the Golden State.

As vice president, Harris continues to do what she can to endanger the lives of children, including reducing birth rates and endorsing child sterilization. She also opposes giving kids the opportunity to attend better schools and has ignored the exploitation of children entering the country illegally.

Kamala Harris’s devotion to the destruction of children in the womb is almost unmatched, going as far as to oppose legislation that would protect babies born alive after an abortion. Currently, only eight states require reporting on cases of infants being born alive following an abortion attempt. According to state reports, at least 277 babies died after being born alive following failed abortions. Her running mate even signed legislation in an attempt to cover up cases in his state of Minnesota, yet it is well documented these deaths did occur.

If the Harris-Walz ticket cannot stop babies from being born, they support efforts to ensure that children are sterilized at an early age. The Biden-Harris administration has supported hormonal and surgical transgender interventions for kids. It has even been discovered that they have been using federal dollars to pay for body-altering surgeries and chemicals that generally cause sterilizations. As governor of Minnesota, her running mate Tim Walz signed an executive order establishing a “right” to trans hormones, puberty blockers, and surgeries. According to one April study, “Gender-affirming surgery is significantly associated with elevated suicide-attempt risks, underlining the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support.”

This support comes despite studies that show such treatment of minors “is significantly associated with elevated suicide-attempt risks, underlining the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support.”

Harris and Walz have also both spoken out in favor of school libraries distributing pornographic books that describe in detail homosexual relations between adults and children. If you want your kids to exit the failing public school system, Biden’s second-in-command also opposes the current popular trend of states allowing for vouchers for kids to go to private and charter schools. Her eccentric running mate has gone so far as to call offering school choice a “scheme.” The people Governor Walz has appointed, if possible, are even worse. His education appointee called for the United States to be “overthrown” and “deconstructed.” I’d imagine that scenario would not be beneficial to children.

As if the strain on schools wasn’t enough, the influx of children coming across the border are skewing student-teacher ratios while straining already scarce resources, to the cost of over $2 billion.

The overwhelming flood of illegal immigrants puts a strain on charitable organizations as well. A CatholicVote exposé earlier this year found “deplorable” conditions at a child migrant center in Pennsylvania. All under the watch of the media-dubbed “Border Czar” Kamala Harris.

The migrant kids who end up in the school system might be the lucky ones. There are estimates of tens of thousands of children who can’t be accounted for, though congressional testimony from a former Immigration and Customs Enforcement director uncovered that some have been found “working the midnight shift at a meatpacking plants, many of them forced labor. Many are in indentured servitude” (emphasis added). Many have also been lost to human trafficking.

The Harris-Walz efforts to reduce the population by targeting children could not come at a worse time. The recent numbers on the United States fertility rate put it below 1.6. This translates to 50% less new people after three generations, or in roughly 100 years. The Harris-Walz policies endanger and exploit children. Future generations would be jeopardized by another four years of such targeting.
