I think Democrats are starting to realize they made a big mistake with their installation of Kamala Harris without even one vote of the American people in the primary for the top position. 

We're starting to see that panic set in with them, the recriminations, and the disbelief that former President Donald Trump — who has been talking tabletop issues — could be ahead of Harris — who just keeps spewing about "Hitler." She also went in some weird direction by embracing former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, which is likely costing her more folks on the left while not really gaining her people in the middle.

But her biggest problem is her inability to just explain herself. She can't give a straight answer to anything, not even "What are the three things you keep on your nightstand?" Who can't give an immediate answer to that? That's supposed to be the lay-up question.

But just so you know, according to Democratic strategist Ally Sammarco, the problem is that you guys just don't understand the "nuanced" way that Harris speaks.

"Intellectual, nuanced manner?" That may be the winner of the funniest, most nonsensical tweet of the day. Hilariously untrue, especially when it's Harris who is the one who speaks half the time like she's talking to five-year-olds. 

If you're trying to explain how it's just that she's "nuanced" just a few days before the election, you may have a problem. Plus, pro tip? If you're trying to reach out for votes, insulting people on behalf of your candidate also isn't a winning strategy.

Even Van Jones said, "The word salad stuff gets on my nerves." Are they uneducated Republicans?

This is Democrats trying to convince us again that what we see and hear isn't what we see and hear. If they can change reality, then maybe their candidate has a chance.

But leave it to CNN commentator Scott Jennings to comprehensively skewer Kamala's problem with words.

She has to give you something, she's like a true double threat. She's terrible on her feet when she gets unexpected questions. Simultaneously, she can't even answer the expected questions. It's nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. You think she'd be prepared to do this by now.

He then listed her problems in the CNN town hall. 

"What's a mistake you've made?" Nothing. "What's a weakness you have?" Nothing. "What's the first law you want to pass?" Nothing. "What's a policy difference between you and Joe Biden?" Nothing. Over and over and over. Empty, empty, empty. If she were an animal, she'd be a duck-billed platitude. 

That even had Axelrod laughing it was so good.
