Happy Monday!
It’s 15 days to the election, and the stakes for people of faith have never been in clearer focus.
Harris Tells Christians Who Declare “Jesus Is Lord” They’re “at the Wrong Rally.”
You can only script a candidate so much before he or she reveals their true self. No teleprompter or protective media can save them from spontaneous moments when, from out their hearts, their mouths speak.
Thursday evening, Kamala Harris was giving a speech at La Crosse University — plugging her favorite topic, abortion — when two pro-life students shouted, “Jesus is Lord!”
Her instinctive, immediate reply: “Oh, you’re at the wrong rally.” She followed with a snide, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.” The students, Luke Polaske and Grant Beth, were then roughly escorted out of the rally.
In the crowd: "Jesus is Lord."

Yes. They were. Jesus isn't allowed in Democrat rallies. pic.twitter.com/pDmWI2pWly

Here’s a more complete view of the entire incident.
Wow. Someone at Kamala’s rally said "Jesus is Lord" and she snapped back, "Oh you guys are at the wrong rally. I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street."

Message: Christians are not welcome in Kamala Harris’s America.
This was the same night, not incidentally, that Harris blew off attending the Catholic-sponsored Al Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner … only sending along a video costarring former SNL star Molly Shannon mocking Catholic school girls.
Less than a week earlier, Harris had been campaigning in black churches, acting as if she was the child of Mahalia Jackson and Martin Luther King. She was back at a Georgia church Sunday as part of her “souls to the polls” effort. But it was all for show. Thursday night Harris revealed all.
Think of it: Kamala Harris is more confrontational about somebody shouting, “Jesus is Lord” at one of her rallies than Donald Trump was about getting shot at one of his.
Sadly, millions of Christians don’t plan to vote on Nov. 5. If this includes members of your church family, you now have on tape proof of what The Stream’s John Zmirak argued last week: That these Christians staying home in two weeks will be “burning down their own house.”
Harris’s actions over the course of her entire career have shown hostility toward people of faith. Her condemnation of judicial nominees for being members of the Knights of Columbus is but one example. Now she’s made it clear in her own words. The dangers to the Church of a Harris administration, with the full power of the federal government behind her, cannot be understated.
Polaske and Beth shared their story with Fox & Friends on Sunday. Said Beth,
We were heckled at, we were cursed at, we were mocked. And that’s the biggest thing for me, personally, in reflection of the event, Jesus was mocked, His disciples were mocked, and that’s okay. In reality, we did God’s work. And we were there for the right reasons. And God was watching us in this moment. I’m all about being a cordial to a person, no matter your beliefs. But I do believe that that we were sent there by God.
Huh? Harris Indicates Support for Protester Claiming Israel Is Committing “Genocide”
Perhaps right now you’re thinking, “Kamala was just cranky at being interrupted by those students. She does seem ill-tempered about such things. Just ask Bret Baeir.” Well … earlier Thursday a pro-Palestinian protester interrupted Harris by screeching about Israel’s “genocide” against Palestinians.
Her spontaneous response in that case? “What he’s talking about, it’s real.”
She’s calling the Jewish state, which is surrounded by enemies who openly state their goal is to exterminate God’s chosen people, “genocidal.”
Tripping Up on the Trail
Given the disasters that occur every time she opens her mouth, it’s no wonder Harris only spoke for six and a half minutes at her rally Saturday in Detroit. Not that her surrogates offered much help. Music star Lizzo made an appearance. She didn’t perform, which had to be a disappointment to those who came to hear her, but she did offer this gem: “If Kamala wins, the whole country will be like Detroit.”

Harris was joined on her campaign stop in Atlanta by music superstar Usher. Which would be all well in good, if Usher wasn’t a main player in the evolving P. Diddy sex trafficking and exploitation case that is currently rocking the entertainment industry to its core. Usher is a P. Diddy protégé who in turn introduced 13-year-old Justin Bieber to the sexually abusive rap mogul.
On the plus side, Sunday was Harris’s 60th birthday.
Harris Faltering to the Point That Democratic Senate Candidates Tying Themselves to Trump
At last week’s funeral for Ethel Kennedy, cameras caught an interesting exchange between Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
Wow!! The New York Post hired a professional lip reader to analyze this interaction yesterday at Ethel Kennedy's memorial between Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
BIDEN: "She's not as strong as me."
OBAMA: "I know… that’s true. We have time."

If the lip reader is accurate, Biden’s right. Even with his mental incapacity and dreadful record, he’d be stronger than Kamala Harris is at the moment. But is Obama also right? Is there time for Kamala Harris to turn the race around? Right now, the odds are against her. The Real Clear Politics average in swing states currently shows Trump is ahead in every single one. At the moment, they are giving Trump a 93.2% chance of winning the election. (Don’t read too much into that. Hillary Clinton had similar odds in the days before the 2016 election.)

Even in the popular vote, Harris’s RCP lead is only 0.9 points. As Election Wizard notes, at this point in 2020, Biden was up 8.6 points and in 2016 had Trump by 6.4.

Another sign of trouble for Democrats? They have traditionally owned the early vote, with Republicans winning big on Election Day itself. However, as ABC News reported Sunday, the early vote in the swing states shows a 10-point swing toward the GOP in those areas.

A more fascinating sign of the true state of the race: Two Democratic senators caught up in tough reelection campaigns in swing states are not only running away from Harris, they’re actually running ads trying to tie themselves to Trump. You know — the guy Harris and friends are calling Hitler? In Pennsylvania, Sen. Bob Casey is running an ad touting how he agrees with Trump on trade. In Wisconsin, radical Tammy Baldwin is celebrating the way Trump signed her “Made in America” bill.
Trump Works a Shift at McDonalds
Former President Donald Trump spent part of his Sunday working at a McDonalds near Philadelphia. Here he is learning how to make fries. We’ll have more about the appearance during today’s serving of Al’s Afternoon Tea.
