Formula 1 is back in the United States this weekend for the second of three stateside races: the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX.

This year marks the 12th running of the 56 lap, race at COTA, which is 3.426 miles and features 20 turns.

Last year’s US Grand Prix was won by Max Verstappen, who is among the entries in today’s race and currently sits in first place in the overall F1 driver standings. Also on the grid today is Lewis Hamilton, who holds the record for most United States Grand Prix wins at six.

A weekend of practice, qualifying, and sprints has all led to this — the running of the 2024 United States Grand Prix. Below, check out everything you need to know to tune in.

F1 United States Grand Prix date and time:

The 2024 US Grand Prix begins at 3:00 p.m. ET today, October 20.

What channel is the US Grand Prix on?

The United States Grand Prix is airing live on ABC, so if you have cable or an antenna, all you have to do is flip over to ABC at 3:00 p.m. ET.

How to watch and stream the United States Grand Prix:

If you want to watch the US Grand Prix without cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries ABC (these include Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV Stream, and Sling Blue). You can also tune into it using ESPN+ for just $10.99/month.

Hulu + Live TV is another option we love to recommend in part because they’re currently running an offer too good to pass up. Right now, new users can get their first three months for $59.99/month, down from $82.99/month. You’ll get over 95 live channels, ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu.

How to watch the United States Grand Prix for free:

If you want to watch the United States Grand Prix for free, there are a few streaming options available with free trials for new users; we like DIRECTV Stream, which comes with five days free, before $86.98/month payments begin.

ESPN+ and Disney bundle:

If you want to save a few bucks every month by bundling some streaming services to watch the United States Grand Prix, consider the Disney Bundle. For just $16.99/month, you’ll get access to ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu with ads, and for an additional $10/month, you can remove ads.
