Kamala Harris reacted with scorn and derision when a pro-life heckler shouted “Jesus is Lord” while being escorted out of her campaign rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Thursday.

The incident occurred about 20 minutes into Harris’ speech, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.

Right after someone shouted “Jesus is Lord,” Harris hot back: “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.” As the pro-abort crowd roared with approval, she added: “No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.”

It wasn’t clear what rally Harris was referring to, but Trump drew a massive “standing room only” crowd at a town hall in La Crosse on August 29. That event, held at the La Crosse Center arena, drew a crowd of approximately 8,000 Trump supporters.

Harris’ rally at the La Crosse Recreational Eagle Center on Thursday was attended by approximately 3,000 people, according to the Journal-Times.

A local woman who attended both Trump’s and Harris’ events, shared her impressions on social media.

“Notably, I had to show I.D.  to get in to see her,” she said, adding that the loudest cheers she heard at the rally “came in support of abortion.”

“Not a lot of energy here, but everyone just cheered and screamed in support killing of babies. So that was disappointing,” she said in a video posted on X.

The woman shared video of Harris scoffing at the pro-lifers and expressed shock that Harris lied about much larger Trump event.

She pointed out that unlike the Trump event, there weren’t long lines of people waiting to get into the Harris Campaign’s venue, and “there were open spaces.”

Just before the heckling began, Harris had said: “Again, we’re not gon be gaslighted on this.”

“We remember Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade and they did as he intended,” she added, prompting lusty boos from the crowd.

At this point, one of the hecklers shouted “Jesus is Lord!” and Harris scoffed, “oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”

Harris’s jibes at pro-lifers came as she skipped the Al Smith Dinner Thursday night to attend the rally in La Crosse, making her the first presidential nominee to eschew the high profile Catholic event since Walter Mondale did so  four decades ago.

But she did submit a  pre-recorded video featuring comedian Molly Shannon, who reprised her once funny Saturday Night Live character Mary Katherine Gallagher.

Former President Trump took full advantage of the opportunity to roast Harris, her running mate Time Walz, and Democrats in general.
