We’ve known for years that the Former Joe Biden, currently the nominal “president of the United States” but in fact a figurehead with less power than King Charles III, was guilty of committing plagiarism. In fact, stealing the intimate details of a British politician’s early life derailed one of Biden’s cringe presidential runs in the late 1980s.

Biden kept switching his political views (from pro-racist to anti, from squish Catholic to abortion zealot) and continued failing upward until Barack Obama plucked him from squalor and anointed him as capering court jester in 2008, while Obama himself assumed the office of President for Life. Then Biden failed again in 2020, so badly that our Deep State had to use thousands of vote mules, corrupt election machines, and complicit propaganda networks like Fox to hand him the ceremonial keys to the White House.

There, Biden read out words that other men wrote for him and LARPed at exercising power, while in fact just sniffing little girls’ hair, hoovering up millions of dollars for his crime family, and letting Obama’s Machine run the country. He napped and dribbled ice cream between cashing massive checks and snarling whenever he went off script. I doubt that “Scranton Joe” ever saw, much less was permitted to handle, the nuclear “football.” Maybe his handlers gave him a Nerf one which he clutches as he sleeps. 

Who has really been running our country and is still running it now? We may never know the names making up that conspiracy. But I have a theory. Remember those 51 “bipartisan” Deep State spooks who bald-faced lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop being a story of Russian disinformation? I’d bet a month’s rent that those are the people really holding power now — and they are desperate not to surrender it. They are less plagiarists than parasites, feeding on the borrowed legitimacy of American institutions set up by actual patriots in the past, from the CIA to the FBI to our once-storied military. But most of us know better now, and would feel no better ending up in the hands of the feds’ thugs than Tren de Aragua’s. 

Now we learn that Kamala Harris is a plagiarist too, having stolen huge, important passages of her (cough) law-and-order book from various websites, including Wikipedia. We’ve seen Harris melt down at a town hall when the teleprompter froze, and also saw CBS fake a broadcast to unscramble her stale word salads. Are we really even surprised? I’m suspecting by now that the remarks her team sculpts for her are written out phonetically, so she can just pronounce them correctly in whatever borrowed, phony accent she’s using at the moment (urban, Jamaican, or Spanglish), unburdened by what they mean.

Evil Can Create Nothing

Like the rest of the leftists in power, Kamala Harris is a parasite. Every element in her proposals and in the rhetoric of the left is a hijacking, theft, or perversion of some wholesome natural value or even Christian sentiment. You can’t just lead with “We’re the party of porn, dead babies, castrated children, shoplifting flash mobs, hordes of grabby foreigners, and global surrender to our enemies.” It just doesn’t sound good.

That’s what the left (and the squish right) are actually promoting, of course — as the principalities and powers which by now wholly control them know very well. Those spirits believe, and tremble. They’re aware that their master cannot create anything, but must rely on stealing elements of the good God’s Creation, then repurposing them for evil. That truth is what Tolkien depicted in The Lord of the Rings: The Dark Lord made orcs out of kidnapped elves. I explored it in some depth in a film review of the pretty good exorcism movie The Rite:

[T]he Enemy really does give tangible, spiritual power to some of his servants. As the author of nature’s order, God is loath to disrupt it, so He grants miracles rarely and dispenses them typically after we’re racked ourselves with prayer. Satan, who’s merely a vandal, will gladly perform hat-tricks and grant instant gratification. Exorcists, in their memoirs, inform us that you really can learn things from Ouija boards, summon spirits who might do your bidding, or cast spells upon your enemies. If you’re willing to play with plutonium, you can make little bombs to throw at people to vent your petty spite. But remember that you’re an idiot mucking around inside the core of a nuclear reactor, with no idea how the thing works and not the slightest protection against its effects.

The best depiction I’ve seen of how occultism kills the soul, Robert Hugh Benson’s novel The Necromancers, details what happens next: a slow, sick burn seeps into your brain. The colors of nature (which you’ve raped) all fade to a sickly, jaundiced yellow. Having glimpsed the dark underbelly of things, you become utterly cynical. Ordinary knowledge, earned through hard labor, loses all attraction compared to secrets, conspiracies, and gossip. You begin to see other people with that hideous spiritual hunger that demons feel all the time, as if they were healthy animals and you were a parasite, looking for somewhere to batten on them and drain their strength. Soon the glamour of evil fades, and once it’s too late (by any human power) for you to escape, you feel deep in your bones the crassness, the foulness, the cheapness of what you have become.

I wish more films that treat the occult would emphasize this point. Evil is a privation, and it lives only by borrowing strength — like a tapeworm, or a tick. We should certainly fear the devil, but he deserves no awe and should exert no fascination. We should not even pity him. What we need to feel is contempt.

The Party Platform of Hell

The darkest spiritual goals the left is promoting have all been costumed in sheep’s clothing. They don’t promote the exploitation of young women and addictions of young men. They campaign for “sexual freedom.” And “reproductive rights.” And “acceptance for all” (in the form of sterilizing surgeries performed on addled minors). And “reforms to policing.” And “diversity” which offers us “strength” by simply replacing us. And “policies of peace.”

The left, like its master, can make nothing new or good. Liberal Christians don’t found missions, universities, or other vital institutions. They just infiltrate them, conquer them, then run them into the ground — as Marxist atheist Jorge Bergoglio (aka “Pope Francis”) is doing with my own church, and Soros-funded Sadducees are doing with Christianity Today. Few leftists have any children, muttering instead vague excuses about “the climate.” So they must suborn, seduce, and groom the children of others.

It’s telling that when the left succeeds in ripping down some piece of our heritage on the pretext that the person depicted wasn’t sinless (though they’ve no problem tearing down statues of Jesus, who was sinless), it never manages to replace it with anything stirring or beautiful. Instead, we get formless blobs, crude caricatures, or simply empty pedestals. That’s all that the spirit of negation and destruction can offer in the end.
