The White House has gone into damage control mode after the hurricane. 

Officials are trying to protect Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign at all costs. 

And Laura Ingraham went nuclear on the Biden-Harris regime over this maddening hurricane cover-up.

Biden-Harris regime tries to shut down criticism of hurricane response

Hurricane Helene became the deadliest storm to strike the country after it killed more than 230 people, left hundreds missing, and did more than $35 billion worth of damage. 

The Biden-Harris regime was caught flat-footed in its response to the hurricane. 

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) crews were nowhere to be found in the immediate aftermath in hard-hit areas like western North Carolina. 

President Joe Biden waited nearly a week to authorize the military to help in the area. 

As the criticism grew at the regime’s dismal response, the Democrats and their media allies demanded unity in a crisis. 

Unlike what they showed former President George W. Bush in the aftermath of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina. 

And any failure by the Biden-Harris regime in responding to Helene was called “misinformation” or a “conspiracy theory.”

The spin to save Kamala Harris isn’t working

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham cut through the spin coming from Democrats on Hurricane Helene on The Ingraham Angle. 

“Now, Harris and Biden are trying to spin their failures as misinformation, but again, other than a few fringe theories out there, there are certain facts that are beyond dispute,” Ingraham said. 

“First, FEMA did neglect residents in areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene as exposed by the victims themselves, and it wasn’t until they started speaking out and Elon Musk publicly criticized the trouble he was having — getting his StarLink terminals dropped into affected areas — that things finally started improving,” Ingraham continued. 

Self-proclaimed “journalists” who rushed to New Orleans to cover Katrina were nowhere to be found after Helene. 

They didn’t want any footage coming out because it would hurt Vice President Kamala Harris politically. 

“Second, DHS Secretary Mayorkas literally told us they were running out of money for FEMA hurricane assistance,” Ingraham explained. “Third, FEMA allocated over $640 million this year alone to sheltering migrants. So, combine this with other money that DHS, which oversees FEMA, has already spent on resettling migrants since 2021, and we’re talking billions.”

FEMA is running out of money to help American disaster victims while it’s funneling billions to help illegal aliens who’ve entered the country during the Biden-Harris border crisis. 

Pointing this out was called misinformation by the media because they claimed that money for illegal aliens was coming from a different bucket as if that made it ok. 

American storm victims are getting sent to the back of the line behind illegal aliens under Kamala. 

“Fourth, in addition to the billions for the care of migrants, Kamala just boasted about $157 million that her administration greenlit to go to Lebanon,” Ingraham stated. “So, instead of addressing the substantive criticisms, the Harris camp and their immediate protectorate is sprinkling their hurricane warnings with just totally irrelevant, petty and nonsensical smears.”

Kamala boasted on social media about $157 million going to Lebanon after Israel launched a ground invasion against the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah in the country. 

She wants to keep Arab and Muslim voters in the swing state of Michigan from revolting against her over the Israel-Hamas conflict, so the administration sent cash to Lebanon. 

Hurricane Helene is another tragic example of how Kamala Harris wants to put Americans last.
