A LSU male cheerleader had the internet buzzing after he appeared to interfere following the Tigers’ game-tying touchdown in their eventual 29-26 win over Ole Miss on Saturday.

With less than two minutes remaining in the game and LSU trailing, 23-16, Tigers tight end Mason Taylor escaped Ole Miss defender Trey Washington and took it to the house at Tiger Stadium to even the game.

After Taylor reached the end zone, a male cheerleader wearing an LSU uniform top was seen reaching his arms out and appearing to shove Washington as he crashed on the sidelines.

The cheerleader might’ve been overly excited while celebrating LSU’s dramatic moment against the Rebels.

It’s also possible the cheerleader was extending his arms out to protect himself as Washington was running full speed in his direction.
