Bay Village Police Department shared a dashcam footage of an officer arriving at a scene, where he unexpectedly encountered a rogue inflatable jack-o-lantern in the middle of the street.
The Halloween decoration escaped its yard Monday around 7 a.m. in Bay Village, Ohio.
Lt. Mark Palmer from the Bay Village Police Department said that he found the runaway pumpkin on the roadway and was attempting to take it off the street when it suddenly surrounded him completely.
With the help of a passerby and another officer, they successfully returned the pumpkin to its owner.
Fortunately, neither the officers nor the inflatable pumpkin were harmed during the incident.
