Are open borders actually compassionate?

As I’ve said before, if the average migrant were a Republican, we’d have the Great Wall of Our China sitting on the border with machine guns, BlackHawk choppers and armed drones to keep every last one out. And the media would explain to us how this was the compassionate thing to do.

The Left is not compassionate. Compassion is the last possible way to describe the movement. It leaves behind a trail of bodies in pursuit of power.

And open borders has increased the number of those bodies.

During the first eight months of 2024, the bodies of 108 presumed migrants mostly from Mexico and Central America were found near the border in New Mexico and often less than 10 miles (6 kilometers) from El Paso, according to the most recent data. The remains of 113 presumed migrants were found in New Mexico in 2023, compared with nine in 2020 and 10 in 2019.

Nearly half of those who died in New Mexico this year were women. Women ages 20 to 29 made up the largest segment of these deaths.

The media has to be calculatedly ignorant about why it’s happening. So it blames border security and Texas. And the smugglers are meaner.

It’s not clear exactly why more migrants are being found dead in that area, but many experts say smugglers are treating migrants more harshly and bringing them on paths that could be more dangerous in extreme summer temperatures.

Why are more migrants actually dying?

Because the Biden-Harris administration tore open the border to impose demographic change spurring a mass invasion.

There are more migrants dying, because there are more migrants coming.
