Kamala Harris Accused of Plagiarizing … from Wikipedia?!

Four years ago Monday, the New York Post dropped its bombshell report about Hunter Biden’s laptop. It took Big Tech, a biased media, and 51 crooked intelligence officials to bury the report before the election. Will they try again with this latest bombshell?

Kamala Harris plagiarized at least a dozen passages of her 2009 book on criminal justice, Smart on Crime. Journalist Christopher Rufo broke the story, based on the research of Austrian “plagiarism hunter” Dr. Stefan Weber.

Harris stole passages from press releases, The Associated Press, an Urban Institute report — and most fabulously, the notoriously unreliable Wikipedia.

When asked about the plagiarism charge Monday, Harris replied, “I am not a crook.” (We made that up.)

Seriously, who steals material for a book on crime? And from Wikipedia, of all places?

Keep in mind, Joe Biden’s 1988 presidential campaign was destroyed because of plagiarism. At least he had the smarts to steal from a sharp British political leader Neil Kinnock. But Harris is cutting and pasting from Wikipedia!

While a book written 15 years ago, put together with a coauthor’s help, may not seem like a huge deal, it is. One, because it’s wrong. And if it can cost the president of Harvard her job (which it did), it should at least cost Harris the promotion she’s currently seeking. Second, it fits a pattern Harris has established of charade and fakery.

The stealth editing of her recent 60 Minutes interview is one example. The bussing in of “supporters” for events is another. Her pretending to take positions she’s rejected her entire political life is a third. Her multitude of accents is a fourth.

Even her recent Univision town hall meeting wasn’t legit, according to journalist Michael Tracey. He was at the event. Tracey told Greg Greenwald’s podcast that half the audience was flown in from around the country to ask questions. “This is odd,” he said. “We’re in the swing state of Nevada. I’m sure there are plenty of people in Clark County, Nevada, who would have been more than happy to ask Kamala Harris a question.”  But Univision forbade Tracey from talking to any of those questioners.

Tracey says the other half of the audience were seat-fillers hired by FansOnQ, a firm specializing in “audience casting.” In other words, hired hands, rather than undecided voters given the opportunity to question the nation’s vice president.

Meanwhile, Harris will actually appear on Fox News this Wednesday, having finally agreed to an interview with Brett Baeir. In that case, Fox’s audience will be real. But will the interview be live? 

Shameless: Some House Dems Threaten Not to Certify a Trump Victory

Remember when questioning irregularities in the 2020 election was considered the greatest attack on democracy since the Civil War? Worse than 9/11? The end of the republic? Remember how innocent people were shoved into dark prison cells, lawyers were disbarred, and a bounty was put on the Orange-Hued Hitler wannabe?

Some of the same House Democrats behind all that are now threatening that if they retake the House, they will not to certify the 2024 presidential election results should Trump win. Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, who some days makes Adam Schiff look like Honest Abe, told Axios he’d certify a free and fair election, but has doubts we’d have a fair election if Trump wins. Trump, he claims, “is doing whatever he can to try to interfere with the process, whether we’re talking about manipulating electoral college counts in Nebraska or manipulating the vote count in Georgia or imposing other kinds of impediments.”

Funny how Raskin says nothing about Democrats’ efforts to manipulate the election before it even starts — for example, by suing to boot third-party candidates like Cornel West and Jill Stein off the ballots in states where they could hurt Harris, and suing to keep Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on the ballots in states where he could hurt Harris, to say nothing of manipulating the ballot by trying to keep Trump off it nationwide. How about full-throated opposition to voter ID, signature verification, and pretty much every measure that could ensure the election is both free and fair?  

Funny that Raskin mentions Georgia. As The Federalist points out, the Georgia State Election Board confirmed in May that Fulton County double-scanned more than 3,000 votes in 2020;. Biden “won” the state by less than 12,000 votes. That single act reduced Biden’s alleged margin of victory by more than 25%.

Yesterday we asserted that the easiest job in America right now is the one held by the people producing campaign ads for Donald Trump. Just take what Harris, Tim Walz or their surrogates say and do, add the tag, post it, and off to lunch you go.

That happened again Sunday, when former President Bill Clinton went out to stump for Harris — and gave his old friend Donald Trump a splendid gift in the process.

Clinton admitted that murdered Georgia nursing student Laken Riley would likely be alive today had her killer been properly vetted at the southern U.S. border. And who was/is the border czar? The woman for whom he is stumping.

Clinton went onto say we need mass immigration because our birth rate is too low.

“You had a case in Georgia not very long ago … a young woman who’d been killed by an immigrant? Well, if they’d all been properly vetted, that probably wouldn’t have happened. But if they are properly vetted, that doesn’t happen, and America is not having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work, there wouldn’t be a problem.”

Iran Cuts Off Indirect Contact with U.S. as Israel Considers Response to Missile Barrage

Iran is getting anxious about Israel’s expected retaliation for its latest missile barrage, according to CNN. In addition to the nation’s direct attack on Israel a few weeks ago, over the weekend its proxy Hezbollah launched a drone attack on an Israeli military base that killed four soldiers. The network reports that Iran is furiously trying to get nations to pressure Israel to keep any response limited, and not attack oil or nuclear facilities. The U.S. has been pushing Israel on that as well. Iran is suggesting a limited response would be the end of it, and they would not escalate, KAN reported.

But here’s an unhealthy twist: According to the Washington Examiner, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the Iranian government has cut off communications with the U.S. “Due to the situation in the region, we have stopped exchanging indirect messages with America,” he said. “Currently we don’t see any ground for these talks until we can get past the current crisis.”

CNN said Iran is worried the U.S. won’t be able to convince Israel to limit its response.
